This books is long eh? I don't know where I'm going with this so bare with me loves. Oh and sorry for the delay. Things have been hectic, sorry in advance for the cliffhangerish type.

Wednesday came fast for the partners, neither was wanting to awake when the buzzing of the detectives phone sounded throughout the room. Kate's hand automatically went to shut off the arresting noise. She raised her head to examine the body next to her.

For the longest time she has been staying at the loft, once she even forgot she had a separate apartment. She smiled before looking back to her phone to check the exact time.

"Castle, get up."

"Five more minuets."

She sighed and pulled back the covers, her feet immediately cringing at the contact with the cool hard wood floor. She journeyed to the bathroom, where she took care of her morning business and quirky exited back into the bedroom. Her eyes set upon the still heavy sleeping writer, with the loud sigh she braced her hands on her hips.

"Rick get the hell up!" She yelled

The sleeping man sprung from the bed, the blankets coming to a pile at his feet.

"What what is happening?!" His face was in full panic.

"We have a doctors appointment today, we can be late."

His face instantly shot into a smile, just the thought of getting to see the baby was thrilling for the man even though it was smaller than the size of a bean.

"Oh yea, we get to see our little one today." He picked the covers up and threw them onto the bed before walking to his muse and wrapping his arms around her thin tummy. "I can't wait."

"Me either, but babe we have to get ready." she left her hands fall to her side as the writer kissed across her neck.

"I just want to stay like this for a little longer." He breathed, only making her smile become brighter.

She caved to his wishes and let him have his moment in the morning to get all the kisses he wanted in, for now the brunette was holding his child and it only seemed right if-

"Castle babe, I need to-" she folded her hand over her lips as her other came to push him back.

She sprinted to the toilet, allowing all that was within to be released. This has became a morning habit, Castle disappeared into the kitchen to grab a drink and of course Kate sat bent over the toilet.

She flushed the content just as the spoken of writer appeared in the door with the usual glass of water.

"Here," he handed off the glass and allowed his hands to softly massage her shoulders, relaxing her as his fingers moved in a pattern.

"Thanks."

She sipped the cup with desire, her throat screamed for her to drink faster. She finally let the glass slip from her lips, her mouth released a gasping sigh as she looked to her lover.

"Come on we have to get ready." He nodded as he stuck his hand out allowing her the assistants she needed to stand.

"Ms. Beckett?"

The dazing couple stood in the waiting room as the nurse showed her appearance at the door.

"That's us."

The African American nodded before motioning the two into the hall.

"Right this way please." both writer and muse flooded into the hall, Kate going first threw the door.

"Okay Ms. Beckett, your room is right here. Dr. Kielbasa will be here soon."

"Thank you." Kate spoke for the first time since arriving at the office.

The nurse left the two in the silence, the silence that both knew was needed, well for a moment.

"Kate," the attention of the detective was gained by the writer, "relax. I feel your anxiousness over here."

She smiled a small elegant smile before placing her hand on his knee.

"I'm just nervous, I guess."

The ruggedly handsome man huffed.

"Of what? We know your growing a human." He smiled sheepishly at her. "Look at you. Your growing a human. Our human."

She giggled a small laugh as she brought her hand to his cheek. He leaned his head down just inches from her face, the electricity could be felt between the two. Just as Kate began to lean the rest of the distance the sound of a jingling door handle startled them back from each other.

"I can come back?" The doctor joked.

Rick smiled and motioned Dr. Kielbasa in.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Castle, Mrs. Castle."

A series of different remarks flew from each mouth at the small remark.

"Oh we aren't married."

"Wait, your a fan?"

The doctors looked at the two in shock, her mouth was agape and of course her hand was to her heart.

"I could've sworn you two where married, I haven't even looked at the patient chart," he glanced down to her clipboard and sighed. "my apologizes Ms. Beckett, Mr. Castle."

The silence filled the room again as the brunette typed into the computer what Kate assumed was her log in information.

"It says here that you are coming for a sonogram?"

Kate nodded.

The writer looked to his love and saw the feeling that has bubbled in the room minutes prior return. He reached his hand across her lap and gently wrapped his around hers, instantly feeling her clam under his touch.

"Just let me grab the machine, while I'm gone would you mind climbing onto the bench please."

Once again the detective nodded as Dr. Kielbasa exited the room.

This was going to be a long doctors appointment.
