The writer strolled into the prescient, with two cups of warm hot coffees. He stylishly walked up to his original seat beside his beautiful muse.

"One latte for the lady."

Kate turned her attention to the man and dropped her pen to accept the coffee being handed to her.

"Thank you Castle."

Castle smiled before sitting in his chair and scanned the room.

"Where's Esposito and Ryan?"

Kate looked to the vacant desks ahead of hers and sighed.

"I don't know. They should be here."

As the detective began on her paper work once more the two spoken of detectives exited from the elevator.

"Hey guys."

"Hey, where have you guys been?"

Ryan and Esposito looked at each other before looking back to the couple.

"At a crime scene. We tried to call you but you didn't pick up."

Kate's face fell into a frown as she felt her pockets for her phone, her pockets where empty.

"I'm sorry guys I must of forgot it at my apartment this morning."

"Don't sweat it."

Castle looked to the smiling detective and smiled as she began to speak.

"What do we got?"

"Jane doe, Lanie said around her mid thirties, found over on Madison street with a bullet in her chest."

"Any witnesses?"

The detectives flipped through their notes as the Irish one began to speak.

"Yes, Amanda Carpenter, she saw the shooting but didn't see the shooter. We asked her if she knew the victim and the answer was a no."

Kate sighed and turned to the murder board as it became decorated in, well murder.

As the day progressed, no one but the witness was brought in. The team eventually found out who the Jane doe was, Harley Cook.

Castle had began his third coffee as the clock pushed seven.

"Beckett, why don't we call it a night"

He looked to see if anyone was around before walking up to her side and whispering in her ear.

"and continued what we started this morning."

Kate turned her attention away from the board she was studying as if it was notes for a important test. The writer gained her full focus as she bit her bottom lip.

"Oh really? What did we start this morning exactly?"

The writer smirked as the hispanic detective made his way up to the writer and his muse.

"Guys Gates said to call it a night. We'll pick up where we left off tomorrow. "

The two nodded as Kate walked to her desk and grabbed her belongings.

"Come on Castle I'll drop you off."

The pair strolled out of the prescient, Kate having a little more sway than usual.

As the pair arrived in the car lot, castle turned to his muse.

" You're not really taking me home, are you?"

Kate looked to her partner and threw a wild smirk onto her lips as she traveled to the drivers side of her charger. She climbed in and watching as the writer slowly climbed into his seat, her patients getting the better of her in the process.

As Castle pulled the seat belt over his torso the detective stopped him in his tracks. He looked to her with confusion writer in Capitol letters on his face.

"Kiss me."

The writers confused state turned into complete cockiness.

"As you wish."

He leaned over the consul and kissed her lips with little force, the detective sensing his gentleness grabbed his cheek and kissed his lips hard and ferociously. Castle moaned into the kiss as Kate's tongue tapped his lower lip asking for permission to enter.

The writer opened his lips allowing the eager detective to retrieve his mouth. The partners broke the kiss with a pop from both individuals lips. Kate pulled herself back into the drivers seat and situated her jacket, while the writer tried to control that party he was having in his pants.

"I've been waiting to do that all day."

Kate smirked before pushing the car in drive and flooring it to the destination of her apartment.
