• I decided to bring the day into this chapter because I thought of a good idea to go along with that day sorry about that. 💕

Castle was sitting next to the beautiful Katherine Beckett, he sat staring at the woman before him. Her beauty was mesmerizing, her features where extraordinary, and he wanted to tell her but the only thing about it is that it's to early.

"Castle, your staring again."

"Sorry, it's a habit."

The detective smiled and ducked her head, trying to conceal a blush.

"Are you ready to go? I'm getting tired."

"Yea, let me just leave this for the waiter."

The placed a solid five dollar bill next to his plate before turning to his inspiration.

"Ready?"

The ride to the loft was quite for the two, Kate had dozed off during the ride making castle smile at her small snore.

When he arrived at his loft he dreaded the idea of waking her. Instead the writer unbuckled both of them, then hopped out of the car to retrieve the detective.

Castle picked the spoken of up bridal style, closing the door with his foot when the car was empty.

When the pair was inside the building the sleeping Kate began to wake but was quickly back out again once she curled into the sturdy figure holding her.

The elevator ride was slow. Castle had got the stranger to press the appropriate floor for them, the hard part would be opening the loft door.

When he arrived at the loft, he wasn't surprised to find it locked. Balancing the detective on his one arm, he quickly reached down into his pocket to locate the designated keys.

Once inside the writer brought his muse to his bedroom and laid her on his bed, since she was already in comfort clothes he didn't need to change her clothes.

He brushed the lock of hair that has escaped from the others, back behind her ear before kidding her forehead and whispering.

"Goodnight Kate."

As he headed for the bedroom door he was stopped by the slight whisper.

"Castle?"

The writer turned to see Kate setting up on his bed.

"Yea?"

"What are you doing?"

"Leaving you to sleep."

The detective looked confused for a second before standing up.

"Kate stay in bed."

"No castle this is your bed."

Castle started walking toward the still half asleep woman.

"Just stay in bed. I can take the guest room please."

The writer and his muse where inches apart, when the muse finally broke down in tears.

"Kate, I'm sorry."

She continued to cry when castle wrapped her into a hug, softly pushing her to sit down on the bed behind them.

"I'm sorry."

The detective spoke, making the writer pull back from the hug.

"For what?"

"Pulling you into this. My drama with Josh, my jacked up life."

"No Kate, your life may have some bumps in it but it's not horrible."

She looked up to him with thanking eyes.

The silence continued for a moment before castle stood one again, he bent down and kissed her forehead once again.

"You should go to sleep now."

Kate nodded before pulling back the covers and climbing once more.

Castle watched her a moment before he walked toward the door.

"Castle?"

"Yea?"

"Stay with me?"

The writer smiled before walking over to the opposite side of the bed and stripping of his shirt before climbing beside the detective.

Kate turned to face the writer before pulling herself into his torso. The writer was shocked a little, but brushed it off and hugged her back.

"Thank you Castle."

"Always."

The pair fell asleep in each other's arms. Castle was the last to fall asleep, he peeked at Kate to make sure she was asleep before, kissing her forehead and drifting off to dream about the beautiful woman in the bed with him.
