Natasha had fallen asleep in Steves arms after hearing him talk about how Sharon came into the picture, so when she woke up it was a surprise to her to see him still in her bed. He was still on top of the covers, but his arms were wrapped around her small body. Smiling softly, she couldn't help but stroke his cheek. His skin was so soft and clear, no scars from teenage acne. Watching him sleep seemed so natural to her, just like how it was being held in his muscular arms. Something about last night made Natasha see Steve in a new light; like how she didn't care if she was the other woman. Seeing Steves nose twitch made Natasha giggle softly as she slowly removed herself from his embrace. As Natasha crawled out of the bed and into the bathroom, she studied her appearance. Her eyes were puffy and she couldn't remember why. 'You cried before he came in...remember? You actually cried about a boy Nat. Get it together woman.' Her hair was a rats nest as it was naturally wavy and if not taken care of the right way, it would look as it does now: snarly. Shaking her bead, Natasha found her hair tie and threw her hair up in a quick little braid before washing her face. As she came up from the sink, there she saw Steve standing in the mirror smiling at her. "For fucks sake Steve!" Turning around quickly playfully punch him, she felt his hands on her hips and slowly pulling her back into his body.

Steve held Natashas hips gently while he felt her chest pressed against his. His eyes scanned her face and he smiled a bit more widely. "Good Morning, beautiful." Watching her cheeks turn from a soft peach to a light shade of pink, he chuckled seeing the blush soon take over her whole face. "I wanted to see you before I decided to head out. Thank you for last night; every part of it. The laughter, the sexual tension, the argument, the raw conversation...I needed that." Steve let go of one hip and he cupped Natashas cheek, stoking it with his thumb. "You're amazing...and I want to see you again." As his eyes started to look deeply into hers, he felt himself lower his head and gently kiss her lips. This time, this kiss felt different. It felt like it was meant to be, that it was the kiss that made him realize he needed to stay with Natasha. Deepening the kiss, Steve moved his other hand to the small of Natashas back to press her a bit more closer; he didn't want to let her go. Several minutes later, Steve pulled away. Both their lips were swollen and they were both breathless. "I'm serious about seeing you again. You're perfect and I want to see where this can go." Steve smiled before tucking a stray piece of Natashas hair behind her ear. "Can I get your number?"

Natasha giggled like a school girl before nodding her head quickly. "Of course you can have my number, just store it under a different name? I don't want her to find out about me." Natasha moved out of Steves embrace once again and walked out of the bathroom and to her nightstand. Like all hotels they keep pads of paper and pens somewhere around the room. Opening up the nightstand she grabbed the paper and pen and scribbles down her number. Turning around once again, she jumped seeing Steve. "Seriously! Stop sneaking up on me like that! You'll give me a heart-attack." Natasha handed Steve the paper and smiled when she saw that he noticed the little heart she wrote next to her name. "I want to see where this goes too, Steve. But we need to play it safe, I can't risk your wife knowing about this. From the sounds of who she is, she could very well kill me and honestly, I'd kinda like to live my life." With a shrug of her shoulders Natasha stood on her toes and kissed Steves lips once more. "You need to go and as do I. I have work I need to tend to. You have my number, so text me when you want, but for now, you need to go." With a gentle push for Steve to move, Natasha watched him stroll out of her room and into his. As the door shut, Natasha quickly changed into the clothes she wore the night before and called a cab. It wasn't too long when she soon left the hotel and left the man she started to fall for.

Steve too had quickly changed into the clothes from last night and slid on his wedding band. Wearing the ring had felt so wrong, especially because it wasn't a symbol of his and Natashas potential love, but his and Sharons nonexistent one. As Steve opened the door to Natashas room he saw that it was empty. With a frown on his face he closed the door and left his room as well. A cab was waiting for him and as he got in he text his wife. 'Be home shortly. I need to go get my car, come home, shower, and leave for work.' Steve got send and he silently sat in the cab waiting to go and get his car with hopes maybe he'd see Natasha Romanoff there as well.
