Lapis POV

I was walking the garden with my two sisters and their guards i can't seem to like Sapphire's guard not one bit after the incident two months ago i still feel like she's the peeping Tom kind and i really hate people like that instead yellow Pearl is a total gentleman (A/N yes yellow p. Is a boy and again if you have a problem with it contact my lawyer) blue Pearl is really lucky i can say but then my eyes hovered over Peridot which seemed to enjoy herself with ruby and yellow Pearl i instantly felt heat on my cheeks remembering what she told me a while ago "just know I'm here for you" i looked at her one more time and trying not to smile at the thought of her "lapis? Is everything ok?" Blue Pearl asked i nervously laughed and nodded "y-yea everything is fine dear sister" i said sighing in relief "blue pearl your guard is really nice" sapphire said breaking the ice funny... "You think so? I think he's just hiding it behind a smile he's really savage and if he has the chance he wouldn't give mercy" blue pearl said with her indifferent voice "well what about you lapis? How are you and your guard?" Sapphire said i froze and felt my heart beat and stopped walking "just know I'm here for you" i gulped and turned and looked at Peridot "i-i we're good i guess..." I sat on a bench and couldn't stop thinking about her WHY AM THINKING ABOUT HER?! SHE'S A GUARD AND I'M A PRINCESS AND AS IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH I'M THINKING ABOUT A GIRL UGH! i changed subject so that it wouldn't be awkward for me but for my younger sister instead "what about you and that peeping Tom?" I said getting frustrated by just thinking about her guard "her name is ruby and she isn't a peeping Tom lapis" sapphire said she sounds angry? "Then what was she doing in the royal sauna?" I asked "she didn't know it was a sauna" sapphire said facing me with her bangs "i bet she tries to sneak in your room" i said raising an eyebrow "lapis i think this is enough" blue pearl said "no it isn't she was so curious about our guards why not ask her some questions about that perv of hers" i said scoffing "lapis you're being immature" sapphire said "sure whatever" i said sapphire got up and left with her guard and i of course glared daggers at her guard she's stealing my sister that pervert "what was that all about la- princess lapis?" Peridot said i looked up at her and looked away quickly "none of your business" i said Peridot shrugged and just stood there waiting for any next move i would make "I'm heading to my study to finish some paper work for my coronation" blue pearl said (A/N you get the point right? No? Well when a princess/prince is about to become queen/king of a land you know) i nodded and she left it was left with just me and peridot "so about earlier with sapphire.." Peridot started "what about that?" I said "well i think you were being immature if you want to talk about it I'm all ears i don't have anything better to do anyway" she said sitting next to me i rolled my eyes and just sigh "i don't have to tell you anything" i said looking the other side "i know that's why i offered to hear you out" peridot said probably not even looking at me since i was looking at the floor "i don't like your friend she's a pervert" i said annoyed "she is not she may look all uh angry and scary? But she had a big golden heart she's really nice you just have to get to know her" she said i turned over her and saw her smiling "w-what's your dream?" I asked her she thought for a while and took off her green visors her eyes are...beautiful..... She needs to show it more often i wouldn't get tired of that...ever... "Did you listen to what i said?" Peridot said looking at me i shocked my head and blushed "no sorry i was thinking" i said she laughed "i could tell it's fine" she said "can you repeat then?" I asked "i said my dream is to be able to help technology take another step my drones are not the best since i couldn't afford much before this guardian job but thanks to this i get way more than i actually need and I'm grateful" she said smiling i kept looking at her lips leaning in just...once i want to feel something again just this once i got closer and closer to her face "princess lazuli what are you mph!" I kissed her feeling her soft lips on mine and i just couldn't get enough for some reason i wanted more will i feel happy if i have her? Will i finally be able to move on if i put her instead of him in my head?...

I drifted into an abyss of thought forgetting about my current situation i broke the kiss and just got up "let's go" i said ignoring any face expression she may have had "w-what just happened?" I heard Peridot mumble to herself did i do the right thing? Or did i just mess up my whole life?
