(A/N ok before i start i need to tell you all that i'm sorry i've been reading bumblebee from rwby and i love it i've been trying to learn how to use Ao3 too not to write but to read since on wattpad i basically read everything i'm ntrested in i'll keep writing here i've started putting down ideas for other books with cool AUs this book will definetly go on slowly but it will go on and if you want some events to happen or tehories write them on the comment and i'll try putting it in the story since i am trying to make this story as cool as possible so enjoy?)

9 hours earlier

Ruby POV

I was in my room getting some rest, as sapphire was with her sisters and yellow P. And Peridot.

I've been practicing ten times more to keep sapphire safe everything that has happened in the past few weeks got me thinking that i wasn't strong enough, and my performance was prove of it i kept getting injured and it wasn't a good thing because the king would have taken action and i would probably be thrown away.

I look at my hand while lighting it on fire trying to see if i could do more than just set make a spark my powers where rather thrilling to the king since who has elemental powers normally comes from a noble family but i..i was an orphan

I was cut from my thoughts when the door opened "ruby get up we're going to escort the royal family to the outlands" Peridot said smiling at me i sat up and looked at her "what are the outlands?" I said "well ruby it's the one kingdom not connected to the diamonds let's just say that there is a rumour that the kingdom is now ruled by a prince due to the king and queen running away" Peridot said with stars in her eyes why would they run away? It's their kingdom i was cut again with a hand waving in front of me "ruby? You ok?" Peridot asked "yea I'm fine I'll just get ready and meet you all outside ok?" I said getting up she nodded and left closing the door i got dressed got my retractable sword and my glove.

I headed to the carriages and saw the yellow pearl and Peridot i got to them "sup rubes you good?" Yellow P. Asked "yea all good you?" I asked he nodded and grinned "we're gonna spend the entire ride with the princesses while some knights lead the carriage" yellow p. Said smirking "what about the king and queen?" I asked "they are taking another one" Peridot said shrugging "i have an idea to get her heart this time" yellow p. Said grinning "i shall make blue Pearl fall for me by charming her with my looks" he said confident "haven't you tired that already?" Peridot said "yes! Tons of times but i look better now i feel it" he said hopeful "i feel like you'll fail miserably again yellow" blue pearl said behind us we almost fell and looked at her in shook "p-princess didn't see you there" yellow p. Said sweating bullets "yes i know now let's get moving?" She said entering in the carriage

"Stone cold as usual I see?" I said grinning at yellow p.
"Oh no she's very sweet she just doesn't show it in public" yellow p. Said smiling as he entered then lapis entered glaring at me and scoffing "come on peridot." She added still glaring as she left I looked at sapphire "still mad about the kiss?" I asked scratching my head "well she does tend to bring it up to try and make me reason but what can I say she's being a protective older sister" said sapphire as she gave me a soft smile I nodded and looked at her as she entered the carriage I entered soon after and the inside was nothing like the outside it wasn't like the carriage we used to go to the crystal kingdom "woah..." I said looking around "I know right?" Peridot said.
The inside was larger if you looked it from the outside you would think it's small and has just enough space for the six of us (A/N it's like a camper).

As the cartridge started moving i started fidgeting with my gloves i didn't really want to talk to the princess with her sister around so i just kept myself busy "ruby how has your training been going?" asked yellow p. as he was starting at my hands seeing the burns "um...good i guess still can't control the fire but i am improving with some sparks"

he looked at me with a worried look "you seriously need to take it easy with your fire and suff cause i see how your body reacts to it" he said i looked at my hands"i know what your thinking and yes my fire is a little hostile with my body like a part of me is missing to complete me but i don't know what so i'll try finding ways to use it and lower the damage" i said showing him my gauntlet.

he looked at me weird and went back to looking out of the window i took a deep breath and closed my eyes to meditate i know this is normal for me but for people like peridot and yellow p. this isn't normal a body that can't merge with it's power is not normal i should be able to control it but everytime i try i get hurt I was interupted when i heard princess lazuli talk "so from what i heard you're a difect?" she said with a smirk "a what?" i said confused "you're a difect, wrong? and useless" she said

"princess that's too far even for you" peridot said looking at her "what? i'm saying the truth your friend is usel-" "ENOUGH!" before lapis could say anymore sapphire snapped at her and the seat was starting to freeze "i have had enough of you and your tantrums lapis she's my guard and it's up to me to say how she does and to me she's just fine." she added

"oh i see now..it's because of your affair is it not? you're forcing her to do that right? there is no way my sister would talk to me like that...i hate you ruby and i will do anything in my power to make sure you will get thrown in the dungeons" lapis said glaring at me "i-" i was interupted by peridot and yellow p. grabbing me by the shirt "you're having an affair with the princess?!" yellow p. asked "i can-" i was once again interrupted 

"ruby i expected something like this to happen but an affair? with the princess no less?" peridot said i pushed them and glared at them "firts it's not an affair second what do you mean you expected this?" i said sitting back down "well isn't it obvious? princess sapphire likes you and you probably do too?" peridot asked with a raised eyebrow "you lucky bastard teach me how you do that" yellow p. asked crying "i- are those tears?"

"yes tears of envy! how did you do that!" yellow p. said god this will be a long ride and i don't want to be at the center of attention at least not in this kind of situation
