Ruby and Sapphire were walking down the street to find a place to eat, after the event that happened to ruby but; during their walk to the center, Sapphire was thinking if her attire was good enough so she suggested to go to the tailor and she then thought about making ruby get a new outfit and maybe get her to get a haircut sapphire giggled to herself "what is it prin- i mean sapph?" Ruby asked confused "oh nothing we are having a stop soon" that's what she said thinking about her flawless plan to get ruby to dress up nice "ok?" Ruby said confused

Ruby POV

Me and sapphire are out alone together...this sounds like a date to me we then stopped in front of a tailor I looked at Sapphire confused but she probably wanted to get a new dress for herself so i entered without asking anything but in less than 5 minutes i found myself trying out different types of suits on "um princess? Why am i doing this? I really don't need suits i already have tons of them in my room in the castle" i complained "more won't hurt" she said with an oddly happy voice she's enjoying this isn't she then told the tailor that we will be getting the dark red suit with a black bowtie "i didn't get a say in this sapph" i said a little concerned "don't you like it?" She turned looking at me i looked away and nodded "i like it it's just why are you buying this for me?" I said she looked at me paid the suitor and we left with me still wearing the suit god is this how a date goes? This is not what i expected "ruby here is our next stop" i looked up "tell me I'm not getting an haircut" i said hopefully "oh yes you will and don't worry I'm paying" she smiled and pushed me in telling the lady to trim my messy hair 30 minutes later she was done with cutting my hair i looked at the mirror and it didn't look half bad i didn't mind it was short and i really didn't need to use my hairband anymore but i still kept it i didn't want to throw it away it was huge part of my life i smiled and thanked the lady after that we finally went around the city looking at the markets "hey ruby do you like this?" Sapphire asked i turned around and she was showing me some gloves with the kingdom's symbol on it i smiled and nodded "they look pretty cool" i said she smiled and for an instant her bangs moved just enough for me to see her blue eyes i got mesmerized by them and i didn't notice i was staring until i got snapped out of it by a stuttering sapphire "y-you're s-staring" she said looking at the floor "cute..." I accidentally said out loud she looked at me and turned her back at me did i say something wrong? After we looked around we decided to get some food we went to the closest food market to buy (i have no idea what snacks they ate in the past but I'll go with my favorite when i go out with friends) mozzarella sticks i bought them while sapphire was waiting to avoid too much attention from the people as i came back i saw her staring at a Sapphire blue necklace i looked at it and noticed it had a ruby as well in it sapphire was practically staring by now so i had no choice but to act as i just arrived "hey sapph i got our food what about you go ahead and find a quiet place? I'll be right there when I'm done i need to get some drinks" i said she nodded and left i looked at her as she disappeared from my view and i went in the jewelry i looked at the necklace and asked the lady if she could put some diamonds on it she looked at me weird "can you even afford it?" She asked skeptical i inhaled "lady if i couldn't afford it i wouldn't even be here just do your job and don't question" i said as kindly as i could she put the necklace in a little box and gave it to me i paid and left and went in search for sapphire i out the necklace in my pocket and waved at her she smiled and we sat under the tree "are you enjoying yourself so far?" Sapphire asked "yea i don't really have to worry about attacks and all you know?" I said she smiled and nodded taking a mozzarella stick while we were enjoying the the afternoon "say, have you ever thought about love? I mean in general you know?" Sapphire said "well yea of course who hasn't?" I said "have anyone in mind?" She said straight up and her stance made it clear that my next words had to be thought carefully "well sorta why?" As i said that she looked down "oh...i see well how is she? Or he?" She said "boys aren't my thing they are arrogant bastards" i said trying to change subject since the tension bar was rising very fast "how is she then?" She said not letting the conversation change "well i don't think i should tell you this" i said cause you're the one jeez how do i say that you're the girl I've been thinking about? It's weird said by me "why not? Is it Padparascha?" She said tightening her grip what? How did she end up with that conclusion? We're just friends "nope not her we're just friends"
