Peridot POV

We've reached the castle safe and sound ruby of course was sent to the nurse again to get checked while me and yellow p where discussing what happened with ruby "well she's awfully skilled at getting in bad situations" yellow p said "tell me about it she isn't someone to think about things twice she'll throw herself anywhere without any second thought" i said as i sighed "peridot? Have you noticed that this happened when all the princesses are together? First the selection now the funeral...i feel like someone is coordinating all of this" yellow p his tone changed and he had the most serious look ever it sent shivers down my spine so this is what blue pearl means when she says he is scary and weird when he starts getting serious about something... "Yea i thought about it too which mean that the person is on the look for announcements given out by the soldiers.." I said "exactly you have the recordings of the event right? Did you look at them?" He said "yea i did and i found out about something interesting the person we may be dealing with may be an orphan from the genocide incident years ago me and ruby were thankfully found by bismuth...but that wouldn't explain anything.." I said very confused "look we'll find the answers once we find the person for now we just keep an eye out don't tell ruby she has a talent so to say for injuries" yellow p said i nodded and we went our separate ways i headed to lapis' room and heard voices "sapphire look I'm telling you ruby is too careless... She's always ending up in situations like this" lapis said "i didn't come here to talk about my guard lapis..i came here to ask for peridot's recording I'll handle this matter with my own hands." Sapphire said sternly "sapphire why? This makes no sense why is it that every time that peeping Tom gets hurt you run to her rescue you're a peincess she's a guard for father's sake get a hold of yourself you can't allow any harm done to you" lapis said "please reason with me i can help you find a stronger guard if you want" she added "then leave peridot free. Should be easy since peridot has lower strength than ruby? Oh wait or maybe you don't want to cause you-" "I've had enough of your nonsense leave. Now." Lapis said interrupting sapphire "as you wish sister oh right your guard us waiting for you outside the door" sapphire said opening the door and leaving i looked at her confused and a little bit anxious i entered the room and looked at lapis "what was that all about?" I asked "nothing she just wanted your recording that's all..." Lapis said she went to her desk and started writing on a bunch of papers while i just stood there speechless..

Ruby POV

I was at the Royal's nurse's office getting checked "looks like the wound is healed and the poison has already been extracted you're good to go" she said i smiled and left and met sapphire at the door "good afternoon your highness I'm good as new now nothing to worry about anymore" i said smiling at her she nodded and started walking towards the exit "princess where are you going?" I asked following her "me? You mean we because toady you'll just be resting we'll go around the city to relax" she said with her calming voice "I'm sorry but i can't with the recent attack going to the-" i got cut off by her "nothing will happen...i looked into the future nothing will happen" she said i thought about it and sighed fine your highness "call me sapph while alone remember?" She said looking at me "oh ah right! Sorry Sapph" i said chuckling "then shall we go?" I added and she nodded
