Truth behind the curtain

Sapphire POV

Prince Isaac told me the truth about him the kingdom and most importantly about ruby.
To be honest with myself i didn't understand the reasoning behind his rampage all he said about it was "she was so loved when she was brought to this world and even tho we are so similar, father never doted on me like he doted on her so i took matters in my own hands, thanks to my powers i was able to develop way faster and achieve what she couldn't at such a young age" i looked at him and saw the resemblance.

"You really think this whole ordeal will take you somewhere? Won't the kingdom go against you , won't all the royal families be against you? What are you aiming for?" I asked him trying to understand more about him and his train on thought

all he did was chuckle and smile "oh my dear and innocent sapphire...." he began as he got closer caressing my face "for someone as special and unique as you i'd expect a more calculated mind" he sighed "the kingdom as you see it is already crumbling, i need you to consolidate my position their trust and their love, the more i get the more i crave"

i felt digusted by his statement "so you lie? that's what your persona is? BUILT ON LIES?" he innocently smiled "and what about you? the amount of times i've sent my men to you..my dear sister was there as more than just a guard"

he stepped back with that same smile that made me feel scared for his next move "it would be a shame is someone were to reveal her lineage, consider my offer i'll be awaiting it by tomorrow evening" he laughed hystericallyas he left the room.

Not long after i left the room heading to ruby's room hoping to find her there but she wasn't there i look at peridot's room and she wasn't there either nor was peridot "where is she?" 

"who?" said a voice behind me, i turn around and see yellow pearl with a smile on him "may i help you princess?" he asked "have you seen ruby and peridot?" he thought for a while and nodded "last time i saw them, they were both in the garden ruby seemed quite stressed and upset, she'll be fine don't worry" he said trying to reassure me

i nodded and decided to give her space and visit her later on

Ruby POV

I was with peridot venting about the whole Isaac deal "how dare he touch her AND threaten her, and of course i couldn't just barge in and that whole sister deal is honestly my last priority whoever is his sister shouldn't be some sort of payment to get sapphire as a wife INSANE" i said fidgeting and throwing my hands around

in the middle of my ranting peridot just covers my mouth and hides behind a tree "what the-" she shushes me up and points at two familiar figures "ruby aren't those the two that tried to kidnap padparascha?" i checked and they were 

of course instead of being smart i followed them silently to a underground passage that lead to a dungeon "what on earth?" said peridot as i looked around "isn't that Isaac with the kidnappers?" she asked, he was paying them but what was even worse was that two figures where in a cell what's going on here?
