Chapter 58: I Want You To Want Me (Part Three)

Jack G's POV

I aimlessly knocked on Cameron's door. After a few seconds he swung the door open. He greeted me with a warm soft smile.

"Hey" he said.

"Hey Cam." I said slowly and with hesitation.

He gave me a puzzled look, I think that he was able to detect the hesitance and the instability of my voice.
"Come in." he said while opening the door wider.

"Thank you." I replied while walking in to his apartment.

"What's up man" he asked.
I sat down on the couch and Cam followed me. I didn't say anything.
"What's up man you look upset" he asked.

"I'm in love with Jack!" I blurted out.
Cameron looked taken back by this.

"I mean I saw this coming but I didn't think it would come from you." he said while sitting down on the couch opposite me.

I wondered what he meant by this. It was as if he thought that maybe Jack would be the one in love with me. Or maybe he knows something that I don't. I realized that it was a very good idea for me to visit Cam in the first place.

"What do you mean?" I asked curiously.

Cameron shrugged. "I guess I just always thought it would be the other way around. You know what I mean?"
"I guess so, I just didn't think that things would be the way they are now." I said truthfully.

Cameron raised an eyebrow at me
"What do you mean by that?" He asked.

"Well you see Jack and I've been in relations, I guess you could say for the past while. It started when we were both fourteen and it kinda just escalated from there. Jack just thinks that it's just bro's helping out bro's but it's not really like that, well at least not for me anyway. I've been in love with him since I was 14 years old and probably even before then. But I know that Jack has made it abundantly clear that he does not feel the same way." I said with a low murmur.

Cameron came over to sit next to me.
He put his arm around me.

"Hey Jack it's okay." he said softly.
"Why did you come here though? I'd think you'd go to someone like Carter, not me." He continued.

I paused.

"I know that you and Nash were in a similar situation. I guess I just wanted to know if you had any advice on how to get out of this mess as you did with Nash." I said softly.

Cameron looked down I could see that there was sadness in his eyes.

"Nash and I aren't together anymore and I don't think we ever will be, not again. He made up his mind." he said softly.

I looked around the apartment and noticed that things were put in boxes.
"Why is everything in boxes? Are you packing?" I asked. Cameron started to get fidgety.

"BMA modeling offered me a position at their agency, the only issue is that it is based in London and I will have to move there very soon. This morning I confirmed that I will be moving and that I will be joining and whatnot. I haven't told anyone yet and you're the first one to know, other than Matthew of course." he said.

My eyes widened in realization.
Cameron cannot leave. This will miss everything up. Nash will be completely beside himself and I will hardly ever get to see Cameron. I personally consider Cameron as one of my closest friends. We've known each other since the first Magcon and we have always been close, not as close as Jack and me or himself and Nash but still pretty close.

"You can't leave!" I exclaimed. He looked at me and shrugged.

"It's my dream job, Jack, and they're offering a lot of money." He said.
"What about the studios and the movies that you have the film." I asked, hoping that I could make up an excuse for him to stay.
