Harmony's POV:
.............................
When I plan on stepping closer in his waist hold, the main door makes an opening sound.“(He whispers, before anyone steps inside) Please…” He then leaves my waist, sighing deeply in utter depression. “Oh! What a pleasant surprise.” Louis smiles at me, and I force one back; since my feelings aren’t natural at the moment, not even stable anymore.
“Is there anything wrong? (He pauses) Harmony?” He asks twice, staring between Harry and I. “(I breathe out) Yes don’t worry. Where are the rest?” As I begin my question, Harry’s boots click on the tile flooring; which makes me notice he’s walking away. “We went to the bar, but there was this huge commotion over there; so we decided to split out. They’ll be here shortly. (He sits down on one of the couches, and I slide beside him slowly) Are you sure you’re alright, love?”
Harry’s groan is heard from the upstairs, emphasising two things. One, he is eavesdropping; two, he didn’t appreciate the word ‘love’. Louis chuckles, placing his index finger on his thin lips. “(He whispers playfully) I should stop calling you that, I guess.” I laugh lightly, not really wanting to show my teeth positively. “You didn’t answer me, though.”
I sigh, while resting my head on his shoulder. “I’m practically being fired as we speak, my phone is crashed, and I need to find a job or else I’ll end up on the streets.” Louis doesn’t reply, but he drapes his shoulder over mine, calming me with slight brushes. “I can fix all of these, if you answer me honestly.” I lift my head from his shoulder, nodding with optimism.“Does Harry play a role in your sadness?”
“(I answer in a frustrated format) Well, he um… no, yes, I mean no. God, I don’t really have an answer. He does a good thing, but then he says or does something else; which erases his good deed. I owe it to him tonight, because if he wasn’t there; I would have been in the back of the car… (My voice saddens) doing whatever I am forced to do with someone I don’t know. (Louis’s eyes widen, but he remains calm) I don’t know what to do with him, or how to act when he’s around. Louis, you’ve given me information that made me be this way. I’m not blaming you I swear it, but then again I wish I didn’t know at the same time. (I shake my head, confused at my own words) I don’t know what I’m blabbering, but at least he isn’t who I thought he would be. I mean, he shows me those little gestures that cause me to awe, but then he scares me with his uncontrollable anger… you’re getting it, right?”
His head nods, drawing a weird smile on his lips. “What?” I ask, and he chuckles under his breath. “You like him, don’t you?” I don’t reply, and a third person shows into the living room. “Do you?” Harry asks, and my eyes blink in shock; how did he get here this quick? He kneels down to my face length, holding my hands in his with complete carefulness. “I don’t know…” I speak with a squeaky voice, not really being able to look at his eyes.
“Harmie, look at me, please.” Harry requests, while Louis get’s up from his seat. “I’ll leave you two alone. I’ll be in my room if you want to talk more, lo- (Harry gives him a warning look, which makes him stop) Harmony.” I laugh a little at Louis’s attempt of fixing his words, nodding to his kind offer. Harry sits beside me, boring his eyes at me. “Please, just look at me…”
I surrender to his begging voice, lifting my chin up. His eyes are glittering with anticipation and hope, making the greenness seem like a forest field of clear grass. “(He pastes his forehead with mine, closing his eyes) Just tell me if you don’t and I will never bother you anymore… tell me something, anything; just don’t stay quiet.”
