Harmony's POV:
.............................

In two minutes later, just like he promised, he was back in the room. I kneel down, zipping my boots to leave with no hesitation. “What are you doing?” He asks in a confusing matter, while I keep my eyes on the next zipper. “I’m leaving. Isn’t it obvious?” I don’t like being rude, but I am forced to be so, since my emotional door is closed with a metal lock at the moment.

“(His socks appear in my eyesight, emphasising that he’s standing right in front of me) Why are you mad?” His concerned tone, angers me more than I am. How could he pretend that what was said down there, was nothing? “(I stand up, looking at the door instead of his eyes) I’m late.” I begin walking, but his voice stops me. “Are you mad at me for some reason?”

I look back at him, noticing how he is lost in his own conclusion; playing the clueless part. His hand stretches to grab me, but I warn for once: “Don’t.” He looks at me like I suddenly turned to a plant, while his lips shake in utter frustration. “What happened?” His concern sounds realistic, but I don’t buy it off like always. I twist the doorknob, climbing down the stairs in a fast matter.

The rest of the boys are awake by now, and I notice that when I pass by the kitchen entrance. “Harmony, come have something to eat.” Liam gestures with a smile, but once he sees my facial expression; the smile turns to a curious frown. I open the main door to leave, but a hand slams it back; making me jolt in shock. Harry’s palm stays at the wood of the door, making my opening action impossible to happen.

“What on earth is wrong with you?” His voice raises in volume, while I turn my head to look at him. “(I mimic his words) What on earth is wrong with me? Hmm, I don’t know; maybe you should ask yourself!” I didn’t realise that I snapped at him, but when I do; his eyes widen at me. “Harmony? How about some scrambled eggs?”

Niall shows up behind me, obviously trying to change the temperature between Harry and I right now. “Did anyone call your name, mate? (Harry’s rudeness reveals at Niall, receiving a sigh from the Irish guy) Go back inside, we’ll be there soon.” Once Niall leaves, his face leans closer to mine. I suspect that he is trying to search for something in my blue pair, as his wondering lengthens.

“(I speak emotionlessly) Stop looking at me like that. (I laugh with no humour involved) FRIENDS don’t look at each other that way, do they?” His eyes change to a stun, realising what this whole commotion is about. “(His voice softens again) Is that why you’re mad? I didn’t mean it like that, I promise. (He mumbles his next verse) Look, I didn’t like how that bastard was staring at you; and I just said what’s on my mind without giving it a thought. (His smirk appears, questioning me) Does it bother you that much for referencing you as my friend only?”

I don’t reply, because I didn’t prepare myself for such confronting question. If I say yes, which is true, he would know that I like him. And if I say no, he might sadden, which I don’t want at all; even though I am hurt.
“Are you ashamed of me for being an orphan? Is that why you told him I was your fri-…” His hand interrupts me, when it tucks a hair strand behind my ear.

“(He coos, sending Goosebumps over my skin) Shhh, don’t say that. If anyone needs to be ashamed of the other, it should be you not me… I’m sorry, but I didn’t know what was I thinking. Forgive me?” His face leans closer, brushing our noses together in a heating matter; is he going to do what I have in mind?
