That was three years ago when you and Tanjiro became new parents and newbies in the parent world, it truly was an eventful day. You were only at the tender age of 18 when you gave birth to the adorable bundle of joy and he was 20, and despite people's negatives opinions of having a child before marriage the both of you couldn't care less about their opinions.

"C/n!", you called out and a little burgundy haired toddler crawled towards you with doll-like eyes, you opened your arms and took her up into them. Embracing your daughter with utmost love.
"You truly are adorable", you softly pinched her cheeks and she giggled,"just like your dad".
"And pretty like her mother", a familiar kind voice spoke,.
There he was, your boyfriend, your Tanjiro leaning against the doorway with a gentle smile.
He was now a pillar, the sun pillar, and he had grown into a more mature and attractive looking man. His hair was now long and put into a ponytail, his eyes was alluring yet still had that gentleness to them, and his smile was still the same smile you always knew. He had changed physically, but deep within he was a still that same 15 year old pure boy and that was what you love about this man, he didn't change at all.

"Love", you said walking up towards him.
He placed a kiss and carried the toddler, giving her a loving gaze
"dada!", c/n exclaimed and clapped her hands.
His smile grew large." Yes dada is here".
She lifted her small arms up and touched her father's face with curiosity.
"She's in her exploring mode again", you chuckled and admired the sight of your boyfriend and his child.
"Yep", he replied whilst c/n was fiddling with his face," she got that from you".
"Is that so?", you replied with a teasing tone.
"Mmmh!", he hummed and started to play with c/n.
"Hey Love", you sat next to him and caressed c/n.
"Yes dear?", he replied.
"Lets go out somewhere".
"Anything for you dear"

You stood up and picked c/n," well then we should get ready!".
He nodded," get ready in 15 minutes alright dear", he stated.
"Always", you replied with a thumbs up.

You got ready into a lilac kimono that had an intricate yet simple design to it, and a pin to tie your hair up, your child was dressed in a pink checkered kimono, similar to Tanjiro's haori but pink and she had her hair into a braid with a pink ribbon.
"Done"
Tanjiro looked at you and his child and blushed," you look beautiful like always".
You suggested going to the festival that the town always celebrated every year as it would be an ideal family outing, he agreed and the both of you with your ps and his child walked to the place.

The place had stalls everywhere ranging from food, souvenirs, games, clothing etc.
"Wow this place is massive", your eyes in awe and mouth open, Tanjiro chuckled at our reaction thinking of how cute it is.
"Dada! Mama!", c/n stated the both of you turned attention to the innocent toddler,"sweet!".
"Does c/n want to eat some sweets?", you asked.
She nodded vigorously and started to drool.
"Alrighty then!", Tanjiro exclaimed and bought some of her favorite sweets,"here is your sweets pretty girl!", he said playfully and c/h giggled.

It had been two hours since the three of you arrived and visited the different stalls and started to walk around.
"I heard that their firework display is going to start soon", you stated making c/n clap her hands and giggle with excitement.
"Lets sit down somewhere to see a good view of it", Tanjiro suggested.
The three of you walked up a little hill where it was just outside he corner of the festival and sat down on the grass, fresh breeze rushed passed and the chattering of the townspeople were less audible.
"I like it here", you rest your head against his shoulder," it's peaceful and there is only us"
He placed his arm around your waist and hugged you and c/h," same", he responded giving both you and c/h a small Kidd on the forehead.

BOOM

"Look the fireworks are going off!", he stated.
C/n's eyes were fixated on the magnificent performance and jere eyes widened with her mouth making an 'o', gasping here and there with such amazement.
"I'm glad she likes it", you whispered to your boyfriend's ear.
"Yep".
"Imagine not meeting each other", he stared up into the starry night," I can't imagine a life without you".
"Me neither", you replied and stroked c/n's hair.
"Do you remember meeting each other for the first time?", he asked.
You laughed," of course!".

"Ugh! Why are you so nice?", you shouted in frustration," people are going to take advantage of you!"
Tanjiro replied in an uncertain tone," its good to be nice, you should always be nice to others!".
"Anyways why are you screaming scolding me even though we don't even know each other that well?", he asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"Because you annoy me!", you replied rolling your eyes.
"What? That doesn't even make sense!", he replied with confusion.
"And?", you said making him more confused.
"And what?", he said.
"I'm asking you the question".
He had a blank face trying to process the meaning,"I-I still don't get it",he rubbed his head.
"And why does it have to make sense that you annoy me?", you replied with a snicker.
"Well, first of all...we don't even know each other! Heck this is basically the first time meeting eachother!", he replied.
"So?", you said " if I'm annoyed at you then I'm annoyed at you!"

You smiled at the past.
"Can't believe we're now together...who would've thought"
Tanjiro chuckled," well we somehow made it and I plan on making it forever"

There was a moment of silence.
