It had already been a year since you became a pillar and a year being a certain wind pillar's significant other.
It was wonderful, you loved the man despite his aggressive behavior at times and his mood swings, because you know that he truly loves you.
Yours and his relationship was a weird one at first like a shy rabbit and a wolf, an odd pair.The both of you were polar opposites and had completely different opinions and views, from this you had many arguments with the man and on many occasions almost broken up but you two somehow always make it work.
Now it was different, the both of you didn't have as much fights because you grew to understand each others views and respect them, it was a mutual thing. Back then the both of you were immature and quite thick-headed but it had changed for the better of your relationship and yourselves.

"Y/n", Sanemi called out whilst adjusting his uniform.
"Mmm?", you hummed braiding Nezuko's hair.
"Master gave us a mission, we have to go now", he said and gave out a hand.
You were just finished with Nezuko's hair and gratefully took Sanemi's hand, lifting you up from your sitting position.
"I'll be back soon Nezuko", you gave her a sweet smile and she nodded.
"Lets go then!", your eyes shone in the light and smiled at your boyfriend, he chuckled at the sight and cracked a soft smile.
"Getting excited?", he questioned with a grin.
"Yep!"

The two of you travelled to a village which was fairly far away, a two day journey to get there , it was a small village probably around 500 people.
"What did the report say?", you questioned.
"There is supposedly three demons here", he replied in a quiet tone, not wanting to alert anyone who was near.
"So keep close to me", he stated which made you sigh.
"Sanemi I can protect myself", you exclaimed in an annoyed manner.
"I won't let you get hurt y/n", he held your wrist tightly and pulled you close towards him," not on my watch".
You blushed at how close you two were and being against his bare chest...it was overwhelming.
"U-umm Sanemi"
"Yes?"
"T-this is too close"
He smirked," you're too cute and pure", he pinched your cheek.
"Can't believe you still get embarrassed over this when we've done other things many times befo-", you cut him off by hitting his back which made him stop mid way.
"What was that for?", he asked whilst last rubbing his lower back.
"Don't speak those things out in public",your face was red and extremely embarrassed.
He laughed a bit," anything for you then".

It was night time and Sanemi and you were walking outside in alert for any signs of demons lurking around. Most of the villagers were now in their homes and sleeping.
"I hear footsteps coming Sanemi", you took a stance and concentrated," from our right".
Sanemi also got ready to attack.
"Food!", a demon jumped from the trees onto the ground in front of you,"a young girl, how tasty!"

Sanemi furrowed his eyebrows and cut its head out of anger," disgusting thing", he muttered.
"Sanemi don't let your emotions take control of you", you warned him.
He rolled his eyes and walked in front of you.
"Hey, Sanemi!", you ran towards him and tugged his uniform.
He sharply turned around and held both sides of your arms," what?"
You stood there frozen," u-umm you're walking too fast".
"We have to if you want this mission to be over", he replied.
"O-ok".
He let go of your shoulders and held your hand," stay close", he stated before continuing to search for the demon.
"Sanemi I heard a faint scream from the left", you informed him.
Sanemi and you ran towards the source of sound and there was a demon eating a human, it wasn't a pleasant sight at all and you wanted to vomit.
"Y/n...concentrate", Sanemi said.
You took in deep and slow breathes, concentrating on your breathing technique.
"Ok I've got it", you replied.
He nodded and took a stance, attacking first.
The demon dodged it barely, it had a cut in its arm but was overall fine," stupid demon slayers always in the way!", it hissed.

You also attacked which caught the demon off guard, making way for Sanemi to successfully attack it and decapitate it.
"Well that was easy", you stated.
"We're not done yet", Sanemi and you turned and saw a man with blonde hair and unique eyes, they were rainbows," let me eat you pretty lady I'm your savior!", he grinned.
"You fucker", Sanemi stated before attacking the demon but it avoided his attack and punched Sanemi towards a wall.
You widened your eyes and was about to run towards your boyfriend when the demon showed itself in from of you.
"Ah, what a marvelous specimen you are", it stated," certainly a rare beauty".
The demon had written upper moon two in kanji in his eye.
This was an upper moon demon.
"Shut up", you said before attacking him but you were counter attacked by the demon causing no you to stumble, he took the opportunity and held your arms.
"Now now no need to be scared",the demon said," all I'm going to do is feed you a bit of special liquid".
You spat at his face," eat shit", you said.
"Well that was rude", he tightened his grip causing you to since", now drink this", he held up a bottle which had blood in it.
You knew exactly what it was...Muzan's blood.
"No!", you exclaimed trying to escape," I will never!"
He punched your stomach causing you to bend over in pain and lifted your head, opening your mouth and pouring it, staining your lips.
"Y/n!", Sanemi slashed the demon's head and hurriedly went towards you.
He was shocked.
You weren't human anymore.
But a demon.
"S-Sanemi?", you were crying and shaking," this isn't real right?"
His heart ached at the sight of you," I'm sorry y/n", he embraced you in a hug and kept on apologizing over and over.

"You still love me right?", you weakly asked.
He rubbed our tears eyes and culled your cheeks," of course", he kissed your forehead," always".
You smiled," thank you so much".

"What a cute sight!"
You jolted from the sudden voice and Sanemi glared at the figure," I thought I killed you!"
"Almost", The demon replied and turned around," I'll see you and your little...lover soon, the name is Douma", it explained before vanishing.
Sanemi gritted his teeth," I'll keep you safe y/n"

You smiled at him," I'm glad you still love me".
