A soft melody filled the quiet but delicate atmosphere, it was calming. You began to brush your hair and looked out to the backyard and hummed to yourself, you were a demon and thankfully Miss Tamayo was generous enough to take you in. 

You were glad and felt deeply in debt.

As a way of showing your gratitude you stayed with Tamayo as a house maid, you were content with what you were provided with; a place to stay, safety and how could I forgot your beloved.

Yes, your beloved Yushiro. 

He wasn't a man of an attractive personality as he is hot-tempered and quite brutally honest with anyone, even a stranger, but he was truly a lovable person. You didn't mind his hot-tempered personality but rather liked it and his honesty, you thought of it as a charm. After all, it is hard to find a man as honest as him these days especially when you were a demon. He also always had a peculiar aura that made you fluster with him and his strong attitude was something you awed over.

"Y/n?", His voice echoed.

you turned around with a gentle smile and patted the space next to you,"Darling, sit here", you stated softly.

He approached you and sat down," I thought you were out in town", he said.

you hummed," I was going to...but I decided it would be better to just sit here and admire the moonlit sky", you explained,"it's beautiful, isn't it?".

His cheeks flushed a shade of red,"U-uh yes it is...but not as much as you", he murmured the last bit which made you tilt your head in confusion.

"what was it you said?"

"n-nothing! I just said that i-it is really pretty"

you chuckled lightly,"Is that so?", you stated teasingly.

"yes!", he exclaimed and his face was now completely red and it was obvious he was lying.

He then sneezed.

"are you ok?", you asked concerned

"y-yes I just caught the cold that's all", he stated.

you immediately laid out a futon and dragged him," you need to rest darling", you explained which he tried to revolt against.

"no it's fine I'm fine!", he stated.

You looked sternly at him,"no, you're sick so I'm going to take care of you just like how a respectable partner should", Yushiro tried to protest but he couldn't win against you, after all you were his weakness.

"but I have to help Lady Tamayo!"

You quickly hushed him and stood up.

"stay here I'm going to get some medicine", you stated and left the room.

Yushiro just laid there on the futon thinking how much of a lovely lady you were.

"what a lucky man I must be"

Soon enough you came in with a stack of medicines which made Yushiro's jaw drop,"don't you think that is too much?", he asked.

You shook you head,"You should always be prepared just in case!", you responded with a cheery tone.

You gave him some medicine by pouring warm water in a cup and added some herbs, "here darling".

Yushiro took the cup and drank a bit,"t-thank you y/n",you smiled and gently stroked his face.

He blushed.

"you're so lovable", you stated which made him almost choke from the drink.

"t-thank you y-y/n umm I umm"

you giggled at his reaction,"and cute".

He didn't say anything, he was just in a state of shock.

"y/n?", he asked quietly.

you hummed in response.

"W-why do you love me so much?", he asked nervously.

You thought about it for a moment and your face lit up," because you are you", you responded.

He looked at you in confusion," You always act like yourself, you don't care what people think of you and aren't afraid to show what you act like, even though people aren't very fond with you because of your hot-tempered attitude and brutality of being very honest and straightforward, I find it very admirable...and I just love the way you care for others before you", you explained.

Yushiro was quiet.

"y-yushiro darling?"

He suddenly hugged you tightly," What did I do to deserve such a lovely lady?", he lightly laughed.

You smiled brightly at him," You have done many good things darling".

"hey y/n..."

"yes?"

"I kinda want to umm...."

you patiently waited.

"yes?"

"u-umm I..."

"It's ok darling you can tell me anything...if you don't want to say it now I can wait", you were about to stand up but Yushiro held onto your arm.

"please allow me to take your hand in marriage!", he stated in a blushing state and looking at you with a nervous glare.

Your eyes lit up,"Of course! Why wouldn't I?".

He let out a sigh of relief.

"Why were you so nervous to ask me?", you asked.

"I don't know...I guess it's because It's you", he replied.

you chuckled,"you're so cute when you're nervous!", you gently patted his back and teased him.

His eyebrows furrowed,"H-hey! Stop teasing me!".

You ignored his pleas,"But I want to see my fiance's cute face!".

"It's embarrassing!"
