It's been 2 months since I started going to The Studio Dance Academy. I have class today and I'm so exited because we have competition next week.
Coach: Alright I have three solos for next weeks competition. Emily, your solo is called Starving it is an acro. You will be going head to head with Callie, Callie, your solo is called Heathens it is a contemporary solo. Both of you will be going up against Chloe. Chloe you have a acro contemporary solo called break free. (Amanda-Emily's mom) Amanda: I don't understand why you're putting Emily up against both Callie and Chloe. Coach: Emily needs the challenge. Chloe is a great challenge for her. We will also have a Duet. The duet is called Greedy. The trio will be Chloe and Alex Amanda: Why do they get a duet? Coach: because they have been working hard. Unlike Emily who has been a little too comfortable with her duets. Anyway let's start practicing Chloes solo:
1 week later: It's time for awards. I have been waiting for this moment for so long. I'm head to head with Callie and Emily. Announcer: We will now give out our junior solo awards. In third place......... Callie from The Studio Dance Academy. I look over at Emily who has a smirk on her face. Announcer: In second place............ Emily from The Studio Dance Academy. [Wait does this mean] Announcer: And in first place........... Chloe from The Studio Dance Academy!!! I couldn't believe it. I one first place in the junior solo category and also first overall. I was so proud of myself and I could tell Coach Amy was too.
Back at The Studio: Coach: Chloe you did it!!! I gave you more difficult choreography and you took it and won with it!!
She walked up and gave me a hug. I looked over and could tell that Amanda and Emily weren't happy. I walked back over to the girls and the all gave me a hug except for Emily.
