Trauma

Kelsey POV:
Kaleigh: Can you tell me the story?
Kelsey: Of course

About a year ago Chloe and I were on a field trip. You weren't here, your parents took you on a business trip. We were there and I noticed Chloe went missing. As I was looking for her I heard screaming. I went to the lobby to see what was going on and I see everybody standing below the statue. I looked up and see Chloe stuck on the top and I notice a hooded figure at the bottom. The figure begins kicking the statue causing it to shake. I look back up and see Chloe losing her balance. She slips and hits her head on the statue causing her to pass out. Everybody starts freaking out but Brodie pushes past everyone and is able to catch her before she hits the ground. We take her to get her head checked and she had head trauma. She was assigned to go to the hospital once a day to get a brain scan which she was cleared from two months ago. Since she hit her head again she has this second term trauma. Meaning she will probably be in and out of the hospital for months.

Kaleigh: That's insane. I......can't even comprehend what she must've been going through. Do you know who the hooded figure was?
Kelsey: You remember when you got back from your business trip and Chloe had been taken into a protection program and Lex was kicked out?
Kaleigh: It was Lex?
Kelsey: Yep and Ian helped him.
Kaleigh: That's crazy. What about the Mattie situation?
Kelsey: Oh yeah. Mattie sent her little sister to hunt Chloe down and find where she was staying. Chloe was later kidnapped from the protection program and had to be found and moved from her previous room. If this situation gets any worse we'll all be heading there.
Kaleigh: That's just......terrifying
Kelsey: Yeah....  it'll probably happen though
Kaleigh: Yeah

We arrived at the hospital and met up with Sam in the hallway. He had tears streaming down his face which worried us even more.

Kaleigh: Did something happen while we were on the way here?
Sam: She's out again
Kaleigh: When will she wake up
Sam: Hopefully soon....did you tell her?
Kelsey: I did
Sam: You think she'll go back
Kelsey: I don't know... last time they didn't send her until Lex tried to kill her
Sam: You're right.....we should probably call Seth and let him know
Kelsey: Yeah we should

Sam grabbed his phone and called Seth

On the phone:
Seth: What's up Sam
Sam: Hey Seth....
Seth: What's wrong dude? Wait where's Chloe?
Sam: That's what I was going to talk to you about
Seth: What happened to her? Is she okay?
Sam: Emily had a group of guys gang up on her.... they bashed her head against a locker and she's out
Seth: Are you at the hospital?
Sam: Yes
Seth: Okay I'll be right there. And Sam?
Sam: Yeah?
Seth: She'll be okay. She's tough. Believe in her
Sam: I will thanks Seth
Seth: No problem. See you in 10

Kaleigh POV:
Sam hung up and looked at me and Kelsey. He was broken and worried. So were we.
5 minutes passed and the nurse came to us.

Nurse: She's awake and stable. You can go see her now
All: Thank you

We walked in and see Chloe laying there looking at us with tears streaming down her face

Chloe: Hey guys *weakly*
Without a word Sam walked over and sat next to her. He grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes smiling weakly at her
Kelsey: We missed you
Chloe: I missed you guys. What exactly happened to me?
Sam: A group of guys came and bashed your head up against a locker
Chloe: Oh. *she looked down*
Sam gently pulled her chin up and kissed her sweetly
Sam: I love you
Chloe: I love you too. I love all of you
All: We love you
We here Seth and Chloe's mom walk in
Seth: Hey sis
Chloe: Seth! *she reached out for her brother sending tears down everyone's face*
Chloe's mom walked over and hugged her and had to leave.
Seth: We'll get your out of this sis
Chloe: I hope so. Emily is.....
Seth: Crazy Chlo, she's crazy
Chloe: Yeah
Seth and Sam were in both sides of Chloe's bed. Kelsey and I walk up next to Seth and smile down at her.
Kelsey: He's right. We'll come up with something. We'll get Emily to leave you alone
Chloe: Thanks guys. I love you
All: We love you too

With that we all walked out to allow the nurse to do Chloe's brain scan. We walked back into her room and spent time with her for a few hours then we all had to leave.
