I awoke from the sharp throbbing from where the pharaohs teeth had begun to break skin. if it weren't for that sting I would of only assumed this was all a nightmare.

What happened was such a blur, a state of loss. The quickened grip the pharaoh had on me and the sharp pain. the sudden the gasping and the unnatural noises that came from the pharaoh while Seto held him back screaming for the mejaiy to restrain the pharaoh.

It was Seto who helped me back to the servants traditional quarters telling me to never speak of this again and return to my duties as a servant girl should. he warned me if I had told the others anything about that afternoon he would have me killed immediately. He ended that conversation forbidding me ever to speak to the pharaoh again.

Weeks passed and everything seemingly resumed as it had before I no longer had that beautiful decorated room, or even access to that part of the palace. But I was placed on kitchen duty, I did enjoy cooking I had fond memories as a child before the darkness.  I was somewhat grateful, and yet found myself perplexed.  I wanted to speak to him The pharaoh..he hung on in my mind I couldn't seem to move passed him, I wanted to know more I couldn't shake the frustration of why. I would go over in my head that day over and over. I wanted to know.... I wanted to know more.

Despite my confounded thoughts and the other women kept to themselves around me everything seemed to become mundane and dull i found myself looking out the small window to the city wishing to be back...to find Yugi, that was a painful part of my heart I wanted to know why he had abandoned me.

It wasn't until an early morning one of the older women handed me a small tray of food

"Take this down to the dungeons"

she pointed down a narrow dark hall steeping into darkness I hadn't even noticed how ominous the stairs were cozily hidden I stared nervously before feeling a soft nudge

"go and feed the prisoners"

her words gave me goosebumps.
this was not the same place I had once stayed I could smell the iron of boiling blood and the soft weeps as I climbed down the steps closer to a door. I reached out my heart racing as the smell grew stronger.

"What do you think you are doing?" a sharp cold voice jolted me in surprise.

I turned to see Seto his features were still as stone like the day I had met him.

" What did I tell You are forbidden be here.." his emotionless face made my heart sink

"I-I am just doing what I was told-" I stuttered

"Who are you talking to out there?" I heard the low familiar voice
my heart jumped as I faced the ajar door to the pharaoh practically illuminating in the darkness sweat gleamed off his smooth tan skin as I examined him I began to blush.

"well well..." his voice sly "did you come all the way down here to join me?" his smirk was unnerving as ever.
Seto snapped "Absolutely not. she's going right back to where she belongs" Seto grabbed my arm. A hard tug  jolted me back that I realized the pharaoh was gripping my other arm firmly
"Tsk Tsk" The Pharaoh waved his finger at Seto "no no, Seto you have disappointed me..you told me she was dead" his tone was now stern

Dead? He told him I was Dead? My eyes darted to Seto

His eyes looked away as he released me

The Pharaoh pulled me through the door closing it behind him.

The tray of stale bread and water began to tremble as the pharaoh approached me his eyes glowing a deep red.

"What a surprise..." He spoke softly biting into an apple "and how disappointing..I cant seem to trust anyone around here"

He eyes narrowed towards me

"Is that for the prisoner?"

I slowly nodded He grabbed the tray from me throwing it to the ground the bread tumbled and the bowl of water splashed in to the cool damp coursers of the room.

"They will eat when I deem it"

The smell of iron filled my lungs again as I began to hear soft whimpers coming from a door across from me my eyes darted towards the door

for a moment...I thought I recognized..

"So what do you remember...of our last...meeting?" he took another bite of his apple curiously

I shook my head to refocus my attention

"Oh I, well I fainted..and You...you seemed not yourself"

The whimpers started up again drawing my attention to the door

that voice...

a quick hard push I was pinned against the wall the Pharaoh faced me intensely making my heart beat through my chest. I felt my head grow light it was hard to breath in this damp cool room.

"How exactly was I" He thrusted my shoulders into the cool stone

"I.. I dont know I dont know" I felt the air thinning

The pharaoh scoffed rolling his eyes "No one seems to know whats going on..with me" his voice low and almost out of reach of my ear the pharaoh turned away holding his face for a moment..I saw him vulnerable.

"What..what do you mean? The pharaoh raise his hand "Shh my dolt pet...You needn't worry about such matters" His eyes were dull almost pained "You must excuse my clumsy behavior.." he began to laugh "I just haven't had this much fun with someone" he took a lock of my hair bring it to his lips my face began to feel as though it was on fire I froze as he moved closer to my face his sweet breath intoxicated me a moment "Your very existence excites me" he whispered closing in on my lips

a loud scream came bellowing from that room that shook me out of what ever type of magic the pharaoh had on me I shoved him away from me hard

That voice I ran towards the door my fingers wrapped around the handle

"Yugi? is that.. You..?"
