Pacing frantically around the bedroom, Dianne needed a distraction. Zoe had come early this morning to take one, very excited, Charlotte out for the day, allowing her parents the time they needed to explore the potential pregnancy and the emotions that came with it either way. Joe had gone to the shops, in search of a dependable test, one which would hopefully tell how far along she was; which left Dianne home alone, pacing and nervous. She had been terrified to begin with, when she realised that once again, she was late. Her and Joseph hadn't talked about the possibility of another child since Lottie was born. What if he didn't want another baby? What if he wasn't as excited as he seemed? How would Charlotte react to a sibling? She had been the baby for so long, there was no one younger than her and she had never asked for a brother or sister. Whilst these thoughts ran through her brain at a million miles an hour, a similar process was happening to Joe, as he stood frozen in the middle of the aisle, staring at the numerous brands and varieties of pregnancy test.

"Sir? Can I help you with anything?" the pleasant shop worker pulls him from his panicked thoughts, that had clearly been written across his paling face. "Hi, yeah, um, my wife...test. Is there any that can tell how far along? Sorry that wasn't even in English half of that." he stutters, choking on his words and running his hands repeatedly through his hair. After offering a selection of options, narrowing it down to two tests, he beelines to the till, pays and begins the journey home, still wrapped up in his own thoughts and fears. What if Dianne doesn't want another child, her excitement is faked? We haven't even talked about more children yet, after Charlotte. What if she isn't ready. Walking up the stairs and into their room, the couple are faced with their whirlwind of emotions; Dianne now tucked up in the middle of the bed, cross-legged with one hand rested on her stomach while Joe stares at her, white-faced, shaking slightly. "Dotty, my love, are you okay? What's going through that brilliant brain of yours?" Joseph whispers, crawling behind her on the bed, pulling her back onto his chest and gently placing his hand on top of hers, resting over the potential baby, growing in her belly. "Joseph, do you want this baby? If there even is a baby? I mean, we haven't even talked about kids since Lottie was born but I love it, Joe, I love it ." the panic is evident in her soft features, fear of rejection from the man she loves most, weighing heavily on her for the last 12hours. Despite being slightly shocked by her statement, Joe leaves no hesitation before reassuring his wife with just a simply sentence. "Dianne Sugg. I'm already in love with the idea of this baby, just as much as I love you and Charlotte. Now, shall we take this test?"

The scene in the bathroom was like a bad movie, with Joe seated on the bathroom floor, with Dianne paced anxiously. The time dragged by as the couple waited the five minutes for the test to develop, holding the future of their family. "Dianne, sweetheart, the timer is up. Do you want to bring the test over and do it together or do you just want to do it?" Lifting the test of the counter where it sat, keeping it facing downwards as she shuffled over to her husband and sliding down onto the floor beside him, placing his arm over her as she snuggles in. Joining their hands together over the test, they gaze into each other's eyes..."3" she mutters, "2" he follows and "1" they say in sync, flipping the test over. Tears drip silently down both their faces, no words to be said as of yet.

Breaking the quiet, Dianne glances up with a watery smile at the man she loves, "We are having a baby, Joseph. We are actually having another baby!" Holding each other tightly, still on the bathroom floor, the couple rejoice visibly, with a mixture of tears, smiles and passionate kisses. "Let's get up off the floor, i'm sure you and baby would prefer a softer seat my wonder woman. Come here my love, easy does it." Over-protective husband coming back into play, knowing his wife is carrying their unborn child, changes everything and as they walk hand in hand back into their bedroom, he can't help but keep his free hand on Dianne's stomach. As she sits down on the edge of their bed, he kneels once again before her with his head bent downwards, resting lightly against her abdomen, worshipping his wife and her ability to grow their child. As her Joseph tenderly kisses her stomach, Dianne settles on running her fingers through his hair, stroking his face and covering any available skin in kisses, absolutely over the moon at the thought of carrying another baby for nine months, feeling the little flutters, the kicks and watching their son or daughter grow inside of her. "I love you Dianne, you are so amazing. I can't wait to watch our baby grow. Also, can we appreciate my maths skills! 8 weeks Dot!" He chuckles, pressing yet another kiss, just above her navel and nuzzling into the none- existent bump. "Excuse you Joseph Sugg, I made that night quite memorable so i'd be pretty pissed if you didn't remember it. It's not every year you'll get a birthday present like THAT Mister." she smirks, kissing Joe's forehead before flopping backwards on the bed

Moving from his kneeling position, Joe crawls across the bed and pulls his sleepy wife into him so that her back is pressed against his chest and their inter-locked hands resting over their baby. "How are we going to tell Lottie, Dotty? She's going to be over the moon! I wonder if she wants a brother or a sister? What do you want it to be Di?" he questions, placing his head on top of hers. Her answer, sounding like the most natural, motherly answer in the world.

"Healthy Joe. I just want it to be healthy."
