Ayako hit yet another man with her fist. The man staggered back but more just kept attacking her.

            Damn, they just keep coming!

“Face it, you won't win.” The one who seemed to be the leader laughed.

Ayako wiped the side of the blood at the side of her mouth and sneered. “I can try.”

She concentrated on deflecting the blows they sent her way and striking back. She was a good fighter so she managed just as much.

She curled her fist and hit the nearest guy with it then she quickly turned around, dodged another man's punch and gave a flying kick.

She was dragged back when a guy on her left managed to grab her hair. A searing pain on her scalp as her hair was tugged backwards made her glare at the guy who dared to do that.

            Not my hair!!!

She elbowed the guy on the ribs with as much force as she can and she sneered in satisfaction when the guy writhed in pain.

Serves you right, you moron! No one messes with my hair!

She didn't have the liberty to think about it however since more men attacked her.

If only I had one freaking weapon.

Soon, she was getting tired. Her breathing was labored and uneven and her moves were slowing down.

It seems like every time she manages to defeat a batch of enemies, another batch attacks while the previous batch slowly recovers, ready to strike again.

            I'm not...gonna...lose...

But her vision was starting to swim and turn dimmer.

            “Aya!”

The sound of a kicked door startled them all.

            Ayako's eyes flew open. “Eiji...”

Eiji was standing on the entryway, breathing heavily and Ayako could tell he ran all the way to be at that place.

“You seem to need a little help?” Eiji smiled.

Suddenly Ayako felt a little better. Eiji was alive. He was okay!

“Ah you brat! Mind your own business!” The leader of the gang yelled.

“Aya is my business.” Eiji swiftly moved towards her, killing with his katana whoever was in his way.
