Thought I should let you know... this is my first time writing a full blown getting-beaten-up scene so please don't be disappointed if it isn't that great.
But don't worry, I can always improve it. How? You just have to comment and tell me what should I revise. Easy right?
If you noticed, I changed the cover photo again. Like it? Hate it? Let me know!
And I'll say this again, if you have cover-photo-making talents, I still need you!!!
Okay enough talk. On to the story we go!

Eiji paused in front of the compound of the Red Lions. It has been his home since he was young but Eiji knew that today, it would be his deathbed.
Once Master Katsu gave the orders, the Red Lions will kill him. That was how it works.
He sighed and knocked on the door. He was tired but strength wasn’t really needed right now because he didn’t intent to fight back. What he would receive today, he knew he deserved it. In a way, he wasn’t able to protect Aya like he promised. She was crying when he left. He knew that although he didn’t see her tears. And he wasn’t able to protect her from that kind of pain.
If it was any other circumstance, he would have just barged right in and held her close but it was different at that moment. Before, he could do that because no matter how angry Ayako got at him, he held on to the first command that Ayako ever gave her. ‘Stay with me’.
But Ayako herself had said she wanted him to leave. And he would honor that. Ayako’s words were more powerful to him than any warning or threat. So he left Korea and flew straight to Japan.
“Eiji, you’re back!” One of the Red Lions exclaimed as the door was opened. “Boss, Eiji’s back!”
“Eiji?” Master Katsu himself went near him. “You didn’t tell me you were coming back. Why did you leave Ayako alone? It’s dangerous!”
“I made sure my men kept an eye on her while I’m gone. They’re ready to risk their life for her and at the first sign of trouble, they’ll call us.”
“Well done. But why are you back? Is there any development on the gang wars?”
By then, they had reached Katsu’s private garden. No one was there aside from them because the only persons Katsu allowed to enter the garden was Eiji and Ayako.
“Yes there is.” Eiji looked at his Master straight in the eyes. “But there’s something else I have to tell you. Something important.”
Katsu looked surprised but nodded, signaling Eiji to continue.
“I want to back out of the engagement with Ayako.”
“What?!” Katsu looked at Eiji. He saw this boy grow up from the broken boy he was when he first arrived to the brave and confident man he is now. Katsu, of all people knew that it was Ayako who gave Eiji hope, it was Ayako who unconsciously thought Eiji how to love. Eiji once told him that Ayako was the only one he would ever love that much. So there was really no way Eiji would back out of the engagement.
Unless…
“It’s Aya, isn’t it? She was the one who told you to break up the engagement.” Katsu sighed.
