I let out a sigh as I worked around my workstation. I was a nurse on the Enterprise and had worked under Leonard McCoy for three years. In those three years I had met and fell in love with my husband of two years, Captain James T Kirk.

"You won't believe the type of patient I had today." Leonard said as he walked up to me.

"Try me." I said as I moved the rag away.

"Throwing up constantly, can't eat, fever, stomach cramps, and headaches." Bones said calmly.

I felt my smile disappeared and I cleared my throat.

"Really, what do they have?" I asked softly.

"Don't know. Still looking." He said calmly.

I heard my pad go off and I frowned as I saw Jim's name pop up.

"Looks like your hubby wants you." He said a she turned and walked away.

I walked out of the sickbay and towards our shared room. As soon as I walked into the room I sent him a glare.

"What did you give me?" I asked angrily.

"What?" He asked with a frown.

"McCoy told me he'd had a patient with some weird symptoms in today... I didn't tell him I happened to have the same thing! What the hell did you give me?!"

"Okay, calm down baby. I don't know what you are talking about." He said as he walked up to me.

"A patient came in with the same symptoms I've been having for a month, so this has to be your fault." I growled out.

"Let's go talk to Bones and he can clear all of this up." He said as he rubbed my arms.

We walked to the sickbay and looked for Bones.

"Bones could you help me out? She thinks I gave her something." Jim said with a laugh.

"Wouldn't be surprised."

"The patient you told me about, I've been having the same symptoms since last month." I said softly.

"Well you can't possible have what he had because he got it from the planet we just left on." Bones said calmly.

"He?"

Jim sent me a look and I let out a sigh.

"Then why am I having the same symptoms?"

"Let me run some tests." Bones said softly.

After running three tests he sent me a smile.

"Well, you're going to be pissed at Jim for awhile."

"What did he give me?" I asked angrily.

"Nineteen years of debt. Congrats you're pregnant."

My frown disappeared and I felt a smile spread on my face. I looked over at Jim and saw a smile of his own on his face.

"No, seriously?" Jim asked softly.

"You're going to have a little Jim running around in eight to seven months." Bones said as he patted my shoulder.

He left the room and I looked over at Jim.

"I love you." Jim said as he leaned down and kissed me.

I smiled into the kiss and pulled him closer.

"Okay, so we need baby names and a nursery. I'll speak to Starfleet about getting one set up at home... have to take leave for awhile... might even have to retire."

"You're not retiring and we have all the time in the world to get a nursery and a name chosen." I said softly.

"I love you." He said as he sent me a smile before leaning down and pecking my lips.
