I let out a sigh as I woke up and snuggled into my boyfriend's arms. If you knew Spock like his friends knew him, you would be surprised to see him snuggling up to me, but to me it was normal.

"You have twenty minutes until you leave for your shift." Spock said calmly.

"I don't wanna get up."

"It is only logical to not be late."

"Well if I was, my amazing boyfriend would let it slide." I said as I smiled up at him.

"Sadly, I can't." He said calmly.

I let out a groan and stood up.

"Party pooper." I said as I stretched.

I was wearing in of Spock's large shirts that went to my knees. I saw a hint of a smile appear on his face before it was gone.

"Guess I have to get ready." I said as I walked into the bathroom.

When I exited the bathroom I saw Spock fully dressed.

"Here let me help." I said as I fixed his shirt.

I sent him a small smile, before kissing his cheek.

"So your room or mine tonight?" He asked calmly.

"Either is fine with me." I said softly.

I moved away and grabbed my uniform. He let out a sigh and I felt his arms around my waist.

"The crew can't know about us.... I'm your commanding officer." He said softly.

"So? I don't care what they think... Spock I love you, and I'm tired of hiding it."

"We can't... I'm sorry."

"The I can't be with you.... I can't be your secret Spock... at first I was fine with it, but now... I want more." I said as I turned and walked into the bathroom.

I quickly got dressed and took off the necklace he gave me. When I left the bathroom I put it in his hand and walked out.

Two days later

I flipped through my pad and let out a sigh as I moved my hand to my neck. When I realized I no longer had my necklace I moved my hand away and brought my knees up to my chest and continued to read.

It wasn't easy to deal with the break up alone, and apart of me wanted to go to my best friend and talk to him about it, but I respected Spock to much to tell anyone.

I heard the door to my room open and I looked up and saw Bones walk in.

"Okay, what's wrong?" He asked angrily.

"What are you talking about?" I asked softly.

"You haven't slept or even ate anything in two days, not talk to me."

"I was dating someone, and we broke up." I said softly.

"Why didn't I know you were dating someone?"

"Because he didn't want anyone to know we were together... he was to scared about what the crew would say." I said as I felt tears well up.

Bones let out a sigh and pulled me into a hug.

"I miss him so much Bones.... I just... I don't know what to do without him." I said as I let out a sob.

"Shhh.... it's okay Darlin, I got ya." He said a she kissed my forehead.

After I calmed down I was forced to go to the cafeteria with Bones. I let out a groan as I saw Jim and Spock sitting beside each other.

"You see him or something?" Bones asked with a frown as he looked around.

"Don't worry about it, I'll just come back and eat late-"

"No, come on. You am sit with me, Jim, and Spock. I'm sure Spock can bore you." Bones said as we walked up to them.

I set down beside Bones and Jim sent me a smile.

"There she is. Bones told me you weren't feeling so good." Jim said softly.

"Stomach bug, sorry not missing work." I said softly.

"Don't worry bout it. Though yo I do owe Spock a thank you for doing your work." He said with a laugh.

I nodded my head and looked at my food. I saw Bones looking around and I let out a sigh.

"Will you stop that?" I asked calmly.

"I can't help it, I'm tryin to look for the idiot."

"Won't find him." I said as I took a bite of my sandwich.

"To what idiot are you referring too?"

"(Y/n) was dating this guy who didn't want anyone to know about them."

"What? Why would he want no one to know he was with a babe like you? Is he blind?"

"He was worried about what everyone would think."

"Idiot."

I soon saw Scotty walk up to us and he sent me a smile.

"Hey, (y/n), I was wondering if you were free tonight?"

"Yea, I don't have anything planned. What's up?" I asked softly.

"Would you happen to want to go out for dinner with me?" He asked softly.

I felt my heart stop and I bit my lip.

"Sorry, Scotty, but.... I have to decline."

Scotty nodded his head and walked away.

"Why? Come on Scotty could help you forget about the idiot you use to be with." Bones said calmly.

"Cause maybe I don't want to forget him McCoy!" I snapped as I stood up and walked out of the cafeteria.

I made it back to my room and curled up into a ball on my bed. I felt tears streamed down my face as I let out a sob. After awhile I heard the door to my room open and I kept myself hidden under my covers.

"(Y/n), I know you are there." A gentle voice said.

"Go away." I said softly.

The covers where pulled away and I looked up to see Spock looking down at me. I saw his eyes go wide as he saw my tear stained face. He quickly climbed onto the bed and pulled me into a hug as I sobbed into his chest.

"I don't care anymore, I'll keep it a secret... I just want you... I just want to be with you." I said through tears.

"No more secrets. No more hiding... I've already told Jim and Bones." He said softly.

"But... you didn't want anyone to know."

"That was before I knew what life was like without you.... I love you, (Y/n), and I was wanting to know... if you would do me the honor and become my wife?" He asked softly.

I felt tears stream down my face as I nodded my head. He sent me a smile and pressed his lips against mine in a slow and passionate kiss.

"I love you Spock." I whispered against his lips.

"And I love you." He said as he leaned his forehead against mine.
