Star Trek one shots (old and new)

Jim

I rushed onto the bridge and tried to catch my breath as I climbed out of the lift and ran to my station.

"Lookin good, (Y/n)." Jim said playfully.

"Captain now isn't the time for you to be flirting." I growled out.

"I just said you look good, can't a guy give a compliment to a beautiful woman?"

"Not when we are getting attacked!" I snapped.

The treat was soon over and I felt Jim's eyes on me.

"Not a word." I growled as I walked away.

"I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave." Jim said happily.

I flipped him off before leaving the bridge. I made my way back to my office and let out a sigh as I got to work.

I would be lying if I said I didn't care for Jim, but his inability to not flirt with other women stopped me from being in a relationship with him. Not to mention he flirts with me almost every time we are about to die.

" Lieutenant may I have a word?" A voice asked.

I looked up and let out a sigh of relief as I saw Spock walk in.

"Of course Commander." I said as I put my pad away.

"I need to speak to you about the captain, I believe you are a, what's the word I'm looking for, distraction for him." He said calmly.

"Spock any woman that he sees is a distraction, he can't help it... it's an illness." I said with a frown.

"Yes but it's appears to be worse with you." He said softly.

I let out a sigh and stood up.

"I'll talk to him, but I can't promise he will stop, he is.... annoyingly stubborn." I said softly.

He nodded his head and left the room. I let out a sigh as I waited for Jim's shift to be over before going to his room.

"(Y/n)? Finally realize you love me?" He asked with a smirk.

"No, I just realized how stubborn you are. Commander Spock wanted me to speak with you about your constant flirting with me. Jim, you have to stop.... it's getting out of hand."  I said softy.

"One date, all I ask."

"Maybe if you didn't flirt with every woman that walked!" I snapped.

I saw his eyes go wide and I let out a sigh.

"I'm sorry, I.... I shouldn't of said that. I... please just stop." I said as I turned and went to walk away.

"I can't, other women it's just to mess with them, but with you.... it's real. You don't even understand how much you mean to me." He said softly.

"Jim..."

"I love you, I've tried not to, but I do... you make me crazy." He said as he walked up to me.

"Jim.... I.. please don't break my heart." I said as I leaned up and kissed him.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and gently kissed me back. I let out a sigh as I pulled him closer. The next day I made my way to the bridge and I held back a smile as Jim wolf whistled at me. I walked up to him and I saw a smile spread across his face as I leaned down and kissed his cheek before walking to my station.
