Three weeks later

-----

I was still feeling under the weather, possibly even more so than I was three weeks ago. I had to cancel engagements, or send someone else in my place, as I had been feeling dizzy and faint.

I was laying on our bed, after just waking up from an hour long nap, when Shawn entered the room quietly. "My family is here, Muffin." He spoke gently.

It had completely slipped my mind that Shawn's parents and sister were staying here over the weekend. I hadn't even tidied the guest rooms yet. My eyes widened at the thought, and I leaped out of the ever-so comfortable bed.

"You don't need to rush, Lils, they're with the kids." He said,

I shook my head. "I haven't cleaned their rooms, or changed the bed sheets. I completely forgot."

Shawn smiled caringly, "I did it while you were asleep, don't worry. How are you feeling by the way? Should I call the doctor?"

"You're an angel, I swear," I smiled. "But no, I'll be alright. I'm probably just coming down with something." Changing the subject, I headed for the hallway. "We probably shouldn't leave them with the kids for too long, we might scare them away."

Shawn laughed, and walked with me into the living room, where Aaliyah was sitting on the floor with the twins, and Karen and Manuel were with the other two on the sofa.

"I hope they haven't been causing you too much trouble." I smiled, watching their eyes turn to us. "It's great to see you all again." I spoke, greeting them with hugs.

"Eulilia! How have you been?" Karen asked. "Shawn told us you haven't bee feeling well?"

"I'm alright," I answered, "Shawn probably made it sound much worse than it actually is." I sent an accusing eye to my husband, who smiled innocently.

"Well," Manuel spoke up, "since we're here, you can take a break. We'll look after these monkeys for you." He tickled Eloise, who was sitting in his lap, making her squeal and wriggle around.

"Only if you're sure," I said, "we all know how much of a handful they can be."

The kids' grandparents chuckled. "We'll be fine. Plus, we have Aaliyah too. You guys deserve a rest every once in a while."

"Yes, they have me: the best babysitter in the universe! I love these kids." Aaliyah smiled brightly, a twin on either side of her, surrounded by toys and colouring books. "We're going to have lots of fun, aren't we?"

Gianna smiled up at her, making a noise of approval, while Noah hugged her. "And you need to be well rested for tomorrow, remember? The London Eye?"

Another thing I had forgotten apparently. Aaliyah had organised a large get-together with all our friends at the London Eye tomorrow, for who-knows what reason. "Of course! I absolutely did not forget."

That sentence caused alot of laughter. Appretly they didn't believe me.
