Old Faces

Friday took a deep breath as she heard the speaker announce that Ian's flight had landed. She hadn't seen him in years, although they did send each other letters. They were rather heartfelt actually, it helped Friday get in touch with her emotional side. Aside from that, they hadn't seen each other or spoken in four years. It made her feel extremely nervous but excited at the same time. She was starting to get used to this, having experienced many conflicting emotions throughout the years. Her emotions had changed quite a bit. She had changed quite a bit, and the biggest change of her life was the one the person most important to her didn't know about...

Friday was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice a gorgeous young man sitting beside her.

"You waiting for anybody?" Friday was brought back to reality when she heard a familiar voice, one she'd never forget. She turned around to look at him. He was wearing sunglasses and a smirk that only one boy pulled off that well. Ian. Friday couldn't help herself and decided to play along.

"Oh, you know," Friday said casually, "I am actually, just waiting for some boy. He isn't that special, really." She giggled when Ian put on a mock expression of hurt. She reached over and pulled off his glasses, a wide grin upon both of their faces. Ian leaned down to Friday, their faces inches away.

"Hey," Ian said, laughing at how Friday's face turned scarlet. They locked lips. Wow, Friday had missed him a lot. He'd missed her too.
