Beatrice
The tension that had built up in the car went away, and before they knew it they were back at her apartment building. Ian and Friday smiled at each other as they stopped in front of her door. They locked eyes for a second, then Ian broke the silence with a whisper.
"I missed you so, so much Friday."
"I missed you too."
The walls must've been thin, because Friday's roommates heard their hushed voices and one of them opened the door. They opened the door just as Ian and Friday started kissing.
"Hey, Ian," Melanie said, as Friday and Ian pulled away, blushing, "good to see ya." Friday and Ian's eyes went wide as Melanie laughed and pulled Ian into a hug. Friday grinned as she watched them.
"Hey, Melly. Missed You."
They walked into the apartment where Harrison was sitting on the lounge. He got up and greeted Ian. Although the two of them weren't particularly close, they were still fond of each other.
The four of them spent the next couple hours catching up and laughing with each other. Friday thought about how she felt the happiest she'd felt in years. She'd missed this so much. Friday knew that there was gonna be something that ruined this... All of a sudden there was a pound on the balcony window, snapping Friday out of her thoughts.
"That'll be Bea," Melanie said as Friday walked over to the balcony and unlocked the door for her friend. Beatrice thanked Friday and saw the rest of her friends and Ian sitting on the lounge.
"Ian?" Beatrice whispered to Friday, nodding over at the blonde.
"Yeah," Friday whispered back, and they went over. Friday had noticed that Beatrice and Ian made eye contact as soon as she looked over at them, but didn't think anything of it.
"Hi, I'm Bea," Beatrice introduced herself and shook his hand. The very slightest of tension filled the room, the type that made you feel a tiny bit awkward.
"Ian. Nice to meet you."
