A mission to retrieve a classified document goes wrong. A young soldier survives a near death experience, but sadly his heart had shattered in that incident. The Kim Taehyung that the world knew had died that night. Fearing for his safety he is sent into hiding, completely detached from everything familiar to him. He had turned to an emotionless recluse, a short-tempered man who lived by himself.

But Fortune decided to spin for him a love that he had not expected to experience.

Fate drove Kim Seokjin to collide with the rudest jerk he had ever met! But somehow situations and the jerk himself made it difficult for him to avoid meeting with the man, who he assumed was suffering from some sort of emotional instability. However, with time he realizes that beyond the scarred angry arrogant shell Taehyung put up lay a vulnerable heart with a tortured soul.

And maybe, Seokjin could try to help him smile again.
