"Well, what happens now?" I looked at Ashton.
He walked over to the curtains and discretely peaked out of the window.
"I just don't understand why this person or persons, think I have something of theirs and kidnap Asia for ransom. What the hell am I going to do? Should I call Asia's family?" I said pacing back-and-forth in a state of panic.
Ashton turned to me "that's the worst thing you could do anyways, you can't stay here, The Anonymous know where you live". You're coming with me, pack your bags."
"Then we have to go to the cops," I voiced out loud.
"Even worst," transferring his gaze from the window to me.
"I can't stay with you," I spat out. I rather stay with my parents in Queens. "Besides, I can't stay in your sister's room," I protested folding my arms, as I walked over to my bed and sat on it.
Ashton walked over to me, towering over me. "Yes, you can, you're in danger and we are both in a similar situation. We have to work together. Besides, this is just a way for us to contain the problem. Think about it, do you really want to endanger the lives of your family by getting them involved?" He exclaims calmly while picking up, a small snow globe from the night table and shaking it as the glitter flared up, "My family is out of the country, so it's fine"
"Why is everyone family away," I countered
"What?" he asked.
"Nothing" it's was just a deja moment.
"I just don't understand why I have to stay with you." I expressed dramatically laying on the bed.
"Because I can keep you safe, now get up and pack up," he advised, as he returned to looking out of the window.
"Fine." I rosed from the bed and strolled into my closet to retrieve my duffle bag and a large suitcase. Hastily, I constructed my outfit for the day and threw it on my bed. Then, I packed all my clothes in two bags. I looked up at Ashton, While I sat on top of my bag compressing my weight down in order to successfully zip up the bag. Ashton was seated on my vanity chair, rapidly texting away at his phone. The chair was ridiculously small for him. "Ashton, could you help me zip up my suitcase?" I said exhaustedly looking up at him with hair in my face.
Ashton talked over to me motioning for me to get off. "If you would fold up your clothes neatly in the first place, you won't have force it closes." he lectured.
"Ok daddy". I joked
Ashton raised his eyebrows at me."Well, you mentioned that I'm in danger and we don't have enough time," I said sarcastically.
He ignored me and put his phone back into his pocket. He placed one hand on top of the suitcase pressing-down and zipping it up with the next hand. "Hmmm," I let out a sound of approval "maybe you're handy". Ashton didn't say anything as he stood up and placed his hand in his pockets. I walked toward my duffle bag on the bed, picking it up and forgetting how heavy it was as I wobbled to the door, placing it on the floor. I felt extremely tired, "Do you think I have time to take a shower," I asked Ashton.
"No". He stared at me disapprovingly. "We should have left already."
"Ok, I just need to change my clothes can you please take the bags downstairs."
"Fine". He voiced firmly, walking towards the door and picking up my duffel bag with one hand. "You have 5-minutes". With that, he grabbed my suitcase with the next hand and walked out of the apartment.
