Ashton was staring down at me like he wanted to murder me. I made eye contact with him rejecting silence scrutiny of his green eyes, while simultaneously, my attention shifted to the background. The world around me moved slowly as I took in my surroundings. In the gallery, people were chatting, kissing, drinking, and smoking. As I mindlessly observed a woman with skin so light, yet, radiant in a bronze color. She woman struts down the corridor exuding such power and elegance as if she owned the place. She wore a light green lace mask; her hair was neatly slicked back in a ponytail, exposing her heart-shaped face. With familiar hazel eyes, she
held my attention. Her eyes were outlined with black eyeliner and eyelids decorated with a dark-shimmery mix of light- green and ash-grey makeup. She had a tall yet, slender silhouette. The long silvery-gown was custom-tailored perfectly to her delicate curves.I mouthed in utter silence her name.

As our eyes intercepted, it happened in an instant as my brain recognized her immediately. My heart began beating fast. I could feel the anxiety within me building up; I wanted to follow her. It had almost escaped my memory that, Ashton's arm was still possessively around my waist.
"Let go of me." I snapped.
"I have to follow her before I lose her."
"No, remember what I said," he jerked me back towards him. Stop this; you're making a scene he whispered in my ear. I tried to turn my head around, but my movement was restricted. I somehow managed to turn around but, his hands imprisoned me.
"Let go of me! isn't this why I'm here? to find her." I dug into his skin to creating red scratch marks. I didn't care if I was clawing away at him. But, Ashton was relentless in not letting go.
"Aeon, stop." I heard Jérôme whisper stepping in front of us. It's not a good idea to follow her.
"How would you feel if you saw your cousin?"
Jérôme was taking-back by what I said. He couldn't even answer my question. He just sipped his drink.People were beginning to turn their heads in our direction, I aggressively resisting Ashton's hold to the point where he had no choice but to let me go. Quickly, I traveled to the dance to find the mystery woman. From far away, I could see her getting further out of sight. I found myself in the middle of the dance floor. People in all types of gowns and suits danced around me. As I rapidly searched for her shifting my attention to every point every angle of the room. It was difficult because everyone was so tall. I felt like I was in a circus, a fancy one. All the mixes of colors and masked gave me a headache and I turned around to see him. He held out his hand and I took it.
Adam Eastwood danced slowly around with me spinning me around. As we swayed across the dance floor people unquestionably, maybe room from us. As Adam guide me, I took this as an opportunity to search for Asia. I searched around the room for her almost forgetting who, I was dancing with.
"So what's your name, lovely?"
I turned my head to see Adam staring at me confidently. I looked at his hand clamped in-between mind and notice a gold wedding band. The fresh memory of Erica on her knees pleasuring him circulated in my mind. I was so disgusted by him, I wanted to show it on my face. I even throw up in my mouth a little. Instead, I spoke calmly "My name is A-Ashely." I was careful not to reveal my real name. Ashton never told me why, but I guess I'll just use my discretion.
Nice to meet you, "I'm Adam Eastwood". This is my daughter's event.
"Oh," "I see how lovely. I purposely made my voice sound sweet. But inside I was unimpressed.
