Have you ever had something happen to you, so shitty, so completely shitty and awful, that you wished you were still dreaming? And in your dreams, your delightful majestic dreams; which cast you so far away from reality, where possibilities were endless. In which you had total and utter control over your present, future, and pass. With this omnipresent ability that only you wheeled allowing you to control your happiness, pain, and desires. Well, I dreamt that I was flying. Flying has always been one of my favorite powers. Essentially, it's an ability that could take you anywhere; I gave myself a running start before my feet lifted me off the ground, and my power of levitation took me higher and higher. I could fly anywhere and escape from anyone. My legs were not bound to the ground because the skies excepted me. I had transcended all who dwelled below me. But, the kicker is, I'm afraid of heights and so I would fall every time. As I fell, I fell into darkness; the feeling that all your insides rising up into your head. The blood rushing to my feet due to the increasing g-force. That fear hindering my ability, to fly.Waking up in cold sweats, as the events of yesterday quickly washed over me, I wish that I could just wish it away or perhaps, it could be a bad dream at least I could escape it. Unfortunately for me reality was on my side. I stretched my arms and walked across to room to open the curtains. It was a lovely morning in NYC. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and my guest room was absolutely stunning. I felt like a princess until reality hit me, slapping me back into place-- I'm playing sleepover with a crazy rich asshole who thinks it's normal to finger the truth out of people. My best friend is missing, his friend's cousin is missing and now we have to band together in this fucked up Scooby-Doo adventure.
THE FUCK----I yelled, as I violently brushed my teeth.
Soon after, I took a shower and put together an outfit for the day, spending the whole morning dragging out each and every little task. I refused to go downstairs and see Ashton's face. Yeah, I know it's his place, so eventually, I will have to see him. But if I can delay myself just for a little while longer by pretending that he doesn't exist, it will definitely put my mind at ease.
Sometime later hunger finally got the best of me. I don't even want to see his face. I know that we kinda- sorta cleared things up last night. But its a new day, and with a clear mind. I'm mad as hell. He basically took advantage of me. Well not really maybe he was into it. Who knows he's unreadable. We barely kissed and I got to know his fingers and ---- OMG! I can't go downstairs.
I paced back in forth in the room, "I'll just wait for him to leave the kitchen, and then I'll make my way down". I find myself hating him completely, while at the same time------ no, no, no. I ran to the door as I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "He's probably going back to his room." I heard the door close. The coast is clear. I walked out of the room and ventured downstairs into the kitchen. There was still a lot of food spread out on the kitchen island. Stacking my plate with pancakes. As I glanced across into the living room, staring at the big flat-screen television, I notice the news was on...
"In downtown Brooklyn, an apartment building went up in flames yesterday afternoon at 3 pm. Three people were badly burned and one person died. John, did they identify that body?
No sources say the body was badly burned it's unrecognizable. They have issued an autopsy and sources say they're even looking into dental records, to get a clear identification on who that person was...
Well, do they know what started the fire?
No, Kristal "However, detectives believe that arsenic could be a possibility, which is pretty shady. The cause of the fire is still under investigation we will keep you posted. Thank you, for tuning into "New's City" we will be back after the commercial break.
