Oh the flight back to America, I checked my phone for any text messages. I received a message from my mother four days ago.

"Hey honey, we need to talk."

"Ok, how does tomorrow sound?"

"Yeah, that sounds great."

A message from Kendal appeared, insisting that she has to discuss something very important with me to me. I'll be at your apartment.

I wasn't sure what to make of her message. She always needs to talk. When she got drunk and hook up with Bradley, she wanted to talk. When she lied and said she was pregnant, she needed to talk. When she stole my credit card, she needed to talk. When she slapped Jessica in a jealous-rage, she needed to talk. How much of her destructiveness does she expect me to endure? Climatically, if The Anonymous have there way, we may just end getting married. What I don't understand is why would my mother allow this, when she's having an affair with Kendal's father.

It seems counterproductive if you ask me. She should just devoice father and marry Roger; thus, I will be further far away from the matrimonial promises of Kendal, making mother a billion dollars richer. Tragically, Roger is married. He might not want to leave Jane. But it's 2018 it's not like we're stuck in the old days where it was blasphemous for women to remarry and vice versa.

I closed my eyes, as the plane ascends into the sky. My mind slowly transitions to the image Aeon came to mind.  It's not like there was anything particularly significant that linked me to Aeon. We were not starcrossed-lovers or anything. She's just a breath of fresh air for me. So down to earth, and intelligent. She had a mind of her own and confident too. She wasn't afraid to stand up for herself. I was so impressed with the way she handled herself with Kendal: who's notorious for being an emotionless bully. I just don't know what to do about Ashton, he's my best friend. I'll just have to tread carefully. My eyes gradually closed as I drifted off into sleep.

The plane landed in New York City around 10:00 pm. It was a cold fall night in the city. Kendal text me asking if I was I NYC. Kendal was right outside my apartment around 10:40.

So what do you need to talk about? I asked wasting no time.

Kendal light a cigarette before asking me, "do you mind if I smoke".

I go ahead of you already took the liberty of listing it." I said waving my hand in her direction.

"What did you need to talk about," I said getting straight to the point.

Kendal did there her Chanel bag and pulled out a white envelope. The present of the white neatly folded envelope made my eyes widen in fear. I already knew what it was and the message concealed in the folds.

She hands it to me with a shaken hand. I opened the envelope and read the letter.

To Kendal Alexis-Neel

Dreams do come true, you are betrothed to Jérôme, marry him, or else a hidden vile secret will become public, reputations and marriages are on the line.

Signed
The anonymous

I looked up at her horrible as I closed my eyes. This is only getting worse.

"I didn't know who to turn too," they are threatening me with something and I don't even understand.

"She does even know what's going on," I thought to myself. Kendal looked at me with teary filled light hassle eyes.
