Chapter 47: The Last Chapter

I kind of had this theme for my wedding: lavender meets heaven. So not too much lavender but enough to stand out. The planner was confused and Ashton didn't care. He just didn't want any green anywhere. Well, something had to be green like the trees: nature is green after all.

Two Years Later—May... 2021

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time. I wore a v-neck spaghetti trapped lace-white mermaid-gown tailored to perfection, yet, it still had a draped look about it. The bottom part was decorated with Swarovski Diamonds and a mixture of lavender and white flowers sporadically about. The gown was extremely long. My hair was in a curly bun with lavender flowers place and a green one at the side of my head. "Aeon are you ready," Kevin said holding out his arm for me.

"Yeah," I said nervously, turning to take his hand.

"Just remember to breathe." He whispered.

"Thanks."

The venue was decorated beautifully, the walls were light purple with highlights of dark purple. Purple flowers draped down from the ceiling creating a massive chandelier, of lights and flowers. The curtains were all kinds of extravagant shades of purple. In slow motion, I walked down the aisle are-and-arm with my brother; the white and purple rose petals coated the floor, courtesy of my little cousin.

Many eyes watch me pass by my heart raced and my hands became sweaty; I could feel my social anxiety creeping up on me.  My eyes fell on Ashton, who stood at the center of the room returning my gaze. I thought about everything we did together, all the missions we went on, the many times he displayed his love for me, not in words, but with action. The very first time, I saw Ashton at Club Lights, he was walking up the stairs and I couldn't get him out of my head — he saved my life that night. Everything brought me to this moment.

Ashton wore a white tuxedo with a single lavender flower in his pocket. This is really happening? I'm getting married to the man of my dreams.  I never thought this would be my reality. It felt like a dream. His curly hair was comb-down, barely a single black strand slumped out as he smiled at me, brilliantly, and my nerves dissipated instantly.

I looked out at our families. Everyone smiled joyfully at us looking extravagant in their fancy dresses and tuxedos. My mother sat next to her boyfriend. They both smiled happily sending kisses my way. The groomsmen Bradley, Dante, and Troy Belmont; all wore beige suits. The bridesmaids including my cousins and little sister; all wore dark purple dresses. I looked at Bradley's baby girl and thought this could be Ashton and me someday soon.

"Well. Ms. Aeon Hall do you take Ashton to be your husband. The priest said bringing me back to reality.

"Well," Ashton teased softly.

"Of course, I do I love you!"

"And Ashton C. Belmont do you take Aeon Hall to be your wife to have and to hold until death do you part?"

With sparkling eyes and a little blush appearing on his cheeks for the very first time. He said, "I do."

"Then I now pronounce you, husband and wife: Mr. and Mis Belmont. You may kiss the bride." The crowd cheer and more lavender and white rose pelts fell from the ceiling. Asthon's electrifying kiss had me frozen-in-time nothing matter and I know he feels the same way.

We broke away and turned towards a happy crowd now standing and cheering. At the moment we were excited about everything and promised to fully support, respect, and love each other forever. This is the last chapter for you but a new chapter for us and we are excited about the future ahead, a future together.

Bradley and Kate Wilson had three more babies. They currently live out on Long Island. Aeon's mother remarried. Jasmine (Aeons cousin the nurse) got married to a surgeon at her hospital. Aeon's mother also took back Foxy. Devin gave up his medical career to be the full-time CEO of Halls Distribution Center to honor his Father. Kevin Halls was recognized as a hero who threw out the world and had a statue created after him. Devin also married his Fiancé Mia a year later.

Ashton and Aeon went back to Italy for that honeymoon, ( to make up for the time). The couple later relocated to California into a cozy, yet, affluent neighborhood. However, they still spend winters in NYC.  The couple also went on to have four kids, two twin girls. Then two years later they had another girl. Two Thanksgivings later, Ashton wanted to try for a boy, who got Ashton's light green eyes. All their children had dark curly black hair just like their parents. Aeon Belmont is a stay home mom. She made many friends with some of the moms and yoga members around her town and neighborhoods. A year later she opened a hot yoga studio and works there part-time. Aeon also practices the art and even started a B-tube channel to teach others about art history. According to Aeon, it's doing pretty well.

Ashton has 10 other businesses that he runs from his computer.  He sold Club Lights and started a tech company according to Aeon it's "his real passion."  But that's ok because she never used that finance degree from NYU. Mark Hyde was laid off but he found a better job. He was also at Ashton and Aeon's wedding. He's actually a great singer too. Stephon Belmont apologized for interrogating Aeon. He and Gloria are proud grandparents who spend more time in America with their grandchildren. Also, the Crown family reconnected with the Belmonts. They were at the wedding.  Stephon Belmont finally pressed charges against his daughter but it was drop due to the statute of limitation laws. Erica later went crazy because she lost everything. She was placed in professional care. They say she's making improvements and diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Catherine Brown (Kendal's friend) stop doing drugs and moved to France where she found love in many places.

All of the people involved in The Anonymous were sentenced to prison for 90 years; due to the amount of money embezzled and various fraudulent escapades. Exact for Elizabeth, Victoria, and Claire. Elizabeth served house arrest for 5 years. Jerome's dad never got a seat at the board with his son's imprisonment. In fact, the company was given to his cousin, Dean Westworth. Jérôme's dad went on to live a humble life. He reconnected with Jessica Ford and his granddaughter/niece.  Jérôme served a total of 15  years in prison for murder and kidnapping. In court he crime insanity. He and Ashton never spoke again the same with Erica.  Jérôme spent many years doing interviews trying to clear his name with Jessica. Jessica Ford finally confessed on Talk of the Town, daytime television that they did have an inappropriate relationship; that resulted in her falling pregnant but she lost the baby due to stress while in captivity. It was a huge thing.  She never allowed him to see his child. Until Rose Wastworth grew up and sought him out herself.   Kendal's mother got a divorce from her husband she found out he was having an affair with Jérôme's mother.  She took half.  13 Years later Kendal's dad and Jérôme's mother reunited and got married with a prenup of course.

Victora (Asia) and Clare(Mom) both served two consecutive life sentences for the murder of the young couple found in long island murdered in their home. It was later revealed that she was texting Aeon.

Ontario crashed and burned without funding from The Anonymous. The Crown family's bank was permanently closed and many of their assets were liquidated. The family used their money to escape the law. Jérôme's fraudulent uncle was outed on B-Tube. Ashton was dismissed from his job for revealing his identity twice and leaking information to the media. Dante Ramsey was never seen again; it is said that he's the-new: Middle Man...aka Unknown.
