I woke up in a dark space. As the leaves blew outside te window and the moon shone in.
As Tanjirō got his barings---he realized he was resting a mans legs. The small boy looked at the man with red eyes with pure curiosity. Little did he know, during his transformation---Muzan had turned him into a toddler, only baring memories of his parents and Nezuko.
But even then, he couldn't remember his family well. And he couldn't speak. This made the current Tanjirō mute until he 'grew up'.
Tanjirō lifted his head up, but the figure in front of him pushed it back down. And when Tanjirō whined and kicked his legs, the figure didn't even sweat when he was throwing a tantrum.
"My dear Tanjirō... theres no need to whine... you don't need to waste you're cuteness while you're still transfroming." The man said, smiling.
He felt reassurance from the man. Was this his father? No.. his big brother? Maybe... but this man was fimilaur Why couldn't he remember anything? Why was he gettting a weird feeling he wasn't human...
"You're a demon Tanjirō.. and you can look at me as you're.. saint. And you my dear boy.. are my puppet. One that I'll cherish forever." Tanjirō's eyes widened.. could he read my thoughts? Who was he?
"Yes I can read you're thoughts Tanjirō... but for now.. please try to speak. It'd be nice if you could call me Muzan.." He paused for a minute. "And when you do---you'll be able to meet my friends. The Upper Demon Mooms."
The little boy looked at Muzan with a longing expression. He was so kind... but he was scared. This man was powerful... and he'd have to follow his every order? What would happen if he didn't? But that didn't matter right..? As long as Muzan loved him---he'd do anything!
"M-Muzan!" Tanjirō yipped, raising his hands up in the air as he giggled.
"Good job Tanjirō! Now.. come with me to meet the others." He said that while picking up the child. Muzan had to be extra cateful with Tanjiro, the boy was so light it made him want to keep the child by his side at all times. So he would.
Muzan was greeted by the Upper Demon Mooms as they bowed down to him in the meeting spot. (The place at the end of the Anime where the lower demon Moons meet)
"Muzan Kibutsuji we are all honoured to be here tonight!" One of the demons said, lowering into a full on bow.
Muzan smiled at all of them, nodding to give them permission to speak. "Great lord.. why is there a small demon behind you on you're back?" Upper demon moon asked.
He smiled and lifted Tanjiro off his back---carrying him in front of his chest. "This is Tanjiro.. he's my little demon. You'll find he's a great use out in the battlefield."
"Whatever you say we believe.. master." Upper demon moon six smiled. "But please let ask permisson to hold him! He is the most adorable creature on earth!"
Muzan gave Daki the first heart warming smile he ever gave, but then threated her to not hurt Tanjiro. "Brother! He is so cute! Can't you see!" Gyutaro took his sister position while holding Tanjiro. The boy didn't flinch an inch. "Oh my.."
While people took turned holding Tanjiro, it ended with Muzan holding a sleeping Tanjiro on his back. He clapped and everyone got into their positions. "Upper Demon Moon's One, Two, and Three... go kill the pillars.. the rest of you... find the-"
'I only eat demon flesh or drink their blood.. Muzan' Tanjiro thought, hoping it'd reach Muzan in time.
"Is that so.. well then.. I have a bunch of Lower Demon Moon's who aren't behaving..." Muzan offered. Tanjiro just smiled and snuggled in Muzans arms, falling asleep.
Had Muzan just found something he needed to protect? No.. he found a puppet. A puppet who could finally destroy the demon slayers and satisty him.
It was perfect

Nezuko had been training the last few months, and had defeated countless demons. She had passed the Final Selection and had finished her first mission by defeating a demon killing innocent girls.
But that wasn't good enough.. she needed to be able to know her brother was at least okay... and then.. she'd kill every single one of them. She swore it.
