Riku had decided to go on a walk to a park nearby after convincing Tenn to finally allow him, since he didn't really want Riku to go along, and possibly get lost again like he had last time he went somewhere alone.
He understood why Tenn was worried, especially because of what Veronica had done, but he doubted anyone would suddenly try to capture him again all of the sudden.
So he stuck with going somewhere close by to keep him from worrying to much, and at least he knew where he would be, so it should be fine.
Besides, he could meet more people possibly while he was out. He's made quite a few new friends around the town, so he was sure he probably would make more.
It wasn't a very big park, but it was still a pretty place nonetheless. There wasn't very many people, but it was probably because it was a bit late in the afternoon now.
He did realize there were two people there that seemed to stick a bit out, but he wasn't sure if he should suddenly approach them, since he didn't really have a reason to do so.
Looking around, he noticed there were a few children running around the playground not far, as well as a small pond, other then that there were a few benches around as well.
The two Riku had noticed were sitting on one of the benches underneath a tree facing the playground, but they seemed to be to distracted by the conversation they were having.
Sighing, Riku decided to sit on one of the benches close by. He wondered what Tenn was doing while he was out, but he assumed him and Gaku would end up having an argument like usual, but Ryuu was there to break it up, so he didn't worry to much about it.
While looking around a bit more from the bench, Riku hadn't noticed someone had sat by him, which turned out to be Rei.
He assumed she had been passing by and had noticed him, so she probably decided to check up on him, since she seemed worry about him like Tenn was.
"Hi Rei! What are you doing here?" Riku greeted her, wondering what she was doing.
"...Hey. I saw you sitting here..so I decided to give you some company.." She answered.
Riku smiled at her for wanting to keep him company while he was at the park, since he didn't know anyone there, so it was nice to have her there to talk to.
Although, Rei didn't really talk much, and more like listened, but it was still nice regardless, besides she when she did talk it would be to reply simply or ask some things herself, which he didn't mind answering in return.
"What do you think about the park, Rei?" Riku asked.
"...It's fine, it's not that interesting, but it's better than nothing..." She replied a bit quietly, suddenly looking over at the two Riku had saw earlier.
"Is something wrong?" Riku questioned, not sure why Rei had suddenly started looking at those two.
"No..it's just that, those two stand out the most out of everyone here..." Rei answered.
She wasn't wrong, but he wasn't sure she seemed a bit curious about them, since they hadn't been doing anything but talking ever since he had gotten there.
One of them seemed to have noticed Rei had been looking at them, and looked a bit confused on why, but seemed a bit curious about it as well.
Riku didn't expect Rei to suddenly get up and walk towards them, which confused him, but Rei didn't seem to notice, or if she did, she ignored it.
Rei seemed to have started talking to the two, so Riku was unsure if he should walk over and see what was going on or not.
He decided to just get up and see what Rei was doing after of watching her talk to them still, and his curiosity was starting to get to the best of him. So he got up and made his way over to Rei and the two she was talking to.
