Just as Veronica said, the next day truly was Hell, but it almost looked like it could literally be Hell with the chaos happening.

School had been canceled due to all the was happening, since they were unsure if anything would happen while the students made their way there. For once this school actually did something normal, which was better late than never.

Luckily for them, they didn't have to find Devan and Mirai, instead those two came to their house to check up on them. Mirai seemed worried at first but was relieved to see they were alright.

Although, they didn't know about the others, but Mirai told them they had checked up on them as well and that they were fine. They were glad all the others were alright at least, since they were now stuck in this situation as well.

They asked if they knew where Lillian was currently so they could figure out a way to confront her from there, since they already knew what they were going to do once they did.

Devan told them that she was hanging around on top of the school, where she was more than likely watching the chaos she was causing. Getting to the school unnoticed though, was going to be a bit difficult.

Since she was on top of the school, they'd have to try their bests to sneak up to it and make their way inside so they could reach the rooftop. Mirai suggested using her magic to just teleport them there, but Devan said it wasn't a good idea with so many people.

Apparently Mirai was still working on teleportation anyways, so she could end up messing up and they would end up elsewhere or just elsewhere in the school, since that magic required concentration and enough energy.

Not only that, but they still had to worry about trying to get through to Lillian to not destroy the Town. So they had a lot to deal with, and not a lot of time before she goes through with her plan.

Both Devan and Mirai were also unsure if they would be able to even get Lillian to listen to them, but it was better to talk her out of it than possibly killing her, or just allowing her to go through with her plan.

Ever since Rei mentioned Lillian had pretty reasonable reasons to hate humanity, Tenn couldn't help but wonder what she meant, Riku seemed curious about it as well, but he had the feeling of mentioning that would only make Lillian refuse to listen to them.

Devan and Mirai seemed to know why as well just like Veronica and Rei, but both said it wasn't their place to go around telling them about things that she didn't want to tell them about.

"So you guys really think you can talk her out of this?" Devan asked.

"We have to at least try.." Riku mumbled.

"You're right, but you should also have a backup plan in case that doesn't work." Mirai said.

"We'll try and come up with one with the others." Tenn replied.

They still would rather try and avoid the possibility of harming or killing Lillian, but since she uses magic like Mirai, maybe they could find a way to distract her and cause her to lose concentration.

Tenn mentioned that as a possible backup to them, and that seemed possible, but they'd have to make sure she wouldn't have enough time to regain concentration.

"By the way, that book you had gotten from her shop, it doesn't seem dangerous. If anything, it's just a normal spell book." Mirai mentioned suddenly.

"So, it wasn't anything to worry about really?" Tenn questioned.

"Not really, but her selling them to people who know nothing about magic could've caused an issue, so we manage to stop that at least." she replied.
