(28) Pickup Lines

Jax's POV

"See yah, Selena." Aiden said as he gave her a peck and then joined us back. I had literature now and I don't really remember what these guys have so I left as soon as the warning bell rang. I think the next lesson we have geography so I will see them there. My head wondered back to the days when we were stuck at Jay's place. She was miserable, I think she might be infatuated towards Max but he doesn't like her and Blake might actually like her as he only shows interest in her. Max might be attracted towards ty, still not sure though. If it gets serious, its gonna be a love square. See

I don't know if Taylor has any kind of feelings for Max but I kind of hope she does because she is the only girl that max has liked after her. Leaving these thoughts behind I opened the door and stepped in. I didn't have to look up as I knew the girls would be there but honestly I ain't interested in any. I went back and sat at my usual place. This was time when I would be alone with my thoughts going around in my head.

I plunged in the earphones and sat back in my seat. I noticed a familiar orange jacket and brown hair laid on the desk. "Karoline" I sighed. She had her head down on the desk with her palms on her forehead. Her dark circles were slightly visible even with the Foundation that she used to hide it. Seems like she didn't get any sleep recently. Maybe it was about the nightmares she's had. Everyone is curious to know the reason especially Blake even though Mason tried to slide it off by giving a very stupid reason. I slightly chuckled as I remembered him. He sure can be really dumb at times. A total dimwit.

I stood up and went to take a sit next to hers, maybe to cheer her up. I don't like it when she's dull. I could annoy her and find the fun that Blake finds in it. But would she get mad or maybe I should just let her be? Too bad my legs had already brought me to her. I didn't know what to do so I just tapped her left shoulder and sat on her right side. She got her head up and looked towards her left and then noticed me on her right.

I gave her a small smile to which she replied lazily "hi, Jax." And was going to put her head down soon but I had to think of something to either annoy her or a topic to talk about so before my brain could progress these words left outta my mouth and I couldn't be more regretful..

God! a pick up line!!!! Let me be honest I don't do pick up lines, I NEVER DO PICKUP LINES ESPECIALLY TO GIRLS. Jeez, what's wrong with me? "Huh? What did you say?" She replied. So now I had to play it cool, can't have her knowing that my mouth doesn't go the way I want it to so I repeated myself.

"I hope you know CPR because you take my breath away."
She looked at me for a good 2 minute and then she gave a really deadly answer.

"I don't but I do know karate which can help in ripping your lungs out."

"Woah, can you be a little less harsh towards my heart!"

She laid her head back down but facing towards me and rolled her eyes. I thought my plan was working so I decided to try one more.

"I think there's something wrong with my eyes, I can't take them off you."

"Are you serious? First tell me what has gotten you in such a good mood? your usually cranky." She asked with a astonished look

"I am not cranky and what has gotten you in such a bad mood? Your so dull." I asked her trying to cancel out her question.

I immediately regretted asking her because her face drained as soon as the words left my mouth. She back with another sassy answer after a while.

"I am having a problem with mine too, I can't see you getting anywhere with me."

"Ouch, I am not gonna lie but that hurt my poor heart." I faked a hurt look on my face. I thought she would at least chuckle, giggle or a small smile but nothing. She turned her face downwards again.

"Get lost Jax. Let me be for a while." She said with a sigh.

I didn't want to give up but Mrs. Helens made. Well she's our literature teacher with her big as boobs. I am sure she had them done like twice or thrice because God they are huge!!

Karoline's POV

I didn't know Jax could use pickup lines on girls. Never judge a book by its cover. I knew he doing to cheer me up kinda and trust me I did appreciate it but first I don't want to get close to him or anyone, second I so was not in the mood for anything or anyone, third I wanted to be alone.

Finally Jax stopped just because Mrs. Helens had walked in. Gosh! And there goes my alone time. Looking at her she must have done boob job and it didn't turn to be the least good. It was like they would come out of that dress any second...

After what felt like an eternity the bell rang signalling to another class. God I feel so done.

It was now lunch time so I made my way towards the cafeteria and bumped into Ty.

"Hey! Umm.. what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing why?"

"Your like all sad today, not usually you. Is it because of Selene?" She hesitatedly asked.

"No. Don't worry I just need a little sleep and i will be fine." I replied to clear her doubts. Selene had nothing to do with this.

I was seated between Ty and Jax and hadn't really got anything to eat so Max asked
"aren't you going to eat anything?"
"Not hungry." I replied as I leaned back in the chair.
"Must be dieting" replied mason.
"She doesn't need to." Selene replied on my behalf.

I didn't want to get in so I just shrugged.

"Karoline?" A very familiar voice asked and for the first time in the whole day I smiled as I stood up...
