(26) Selene Cooper

Karoline's POV

I shut down my laptop as it was only a hour left before school starts. Oh by the way, I came back at my place on Sunday as the storm had reduced. Monday was no school as there were still chances of it coming back so it's Tuesday and am going back to that hell hole. I didn't get much sleep at night so I had just been watching series on the laptop.

I quickly finished my washroom business and got dressed. I wore a white high neck t shirt with black ripped jeans. I grabbed an orange jacket and headed down. I just drank a glass of orange juice as I didn't have much appetite.

I locked the door and went to Tay's place. She was ready too, wearing denim jacket and a beanie to make her warm and leaving her hair open which made her a natural beauty.

"Hey! Umm zombie!"she said
"Why zombie?" I asked
"Have you actually seen your face?! You literally have blood shot eyes, eye bags and dark circles too! What were you doing all night?" She asked like her usual bossy self.
"Oh I was just watching series all night" I told her the half truth.
"Anyways lemme just set it for you. I have foundation, if you are wondering." She added the last part noticing my confused face.

Within a while we were done with my face and good to go. "Oh by the way, you remember I told you about a friend since freshman year, Selene Cooper. She is coming today."
"Oh yea! She's Aiden's girlfriend right?" I asked to confirm
"Yup"

We were quite earlier than what I expected so I asked ty "so where do we head now?"
"I don't know." She replied and soon some cars came rushing in and it was obvious that it was the guys, they always like to make a grand entry. I wouldn't lie but I like that too. I mean when I was back at California, I would always tell them to do it with me.

"I think she might have come with Aiden. Let's go meet her." She said but honestly I don't want them to see me so I said "Nah, I am good. Why don't you just go meet her and I can just wait for you to come back?"
"Come on she's not gonna bite you. I am sure you will like her and she's friendly too." She argued back.
I didn't have much energy left to argue with anyone so I let her pull me.

Luckily Selene had been coming forward to meet ty but so had the guys. Why is it that whenever I try to run from someone or something, they keep on showing infront of my face. It's so frustrating at times! Ty gave her a brief hug and pulled away. "Gosh how have you been?!" Selene asked
"I am great what about you Selly and am sorry about your grandad." Ty replied.
"I am good too and it's alright but who is this?"
"Hey I am Karoline with a K and am sorry about your grandad too. Ty had told me about it."
She chuckled a little and said "I am Selene and it's OK, thanks." And then gave me a hug.
"Sorry I am still tryna get over that habit."

"Hey chipmunk" Max said
"Hey Kare-bear." Followed by Jay.
"Hey" I replied back.
"I didn't know everyone was giving you a nickname." Mason said to which Jason added "We need to get her one too."

"I wasn't aware of it either until now." I replied to Mason's statement and everyone chuckled a little. Selene and ty were talking while I just stood there completely lost. Well I didn't know what to do so yea.. "So no hoodie today?" Max asked as he came beside me to which I replied with a nod. Saying I was amused would be an understatement. I didn't know he noticed but never judge a book by its cover.

"Hey guys" a high pitched voice came in which belonged to none other than Catherine. She went straight to Blake, linked their hands and kissed him on his cheek. Well she was going for the lips but he turned his face more like turned her down. Blake was trying to get his hand out of her paws but she just wouldn't let him. "How have you been baby? I missed you so much" she purred like a cat.

"Oh hey Selene. Sorry my bad I didn't notice you." She added faking astonishment. "Hi Catherine." Selene replied with a great smile on her face which was obviously fake, even a blind man could say it.

Now that I look at Selene, she is beautiful with highlighted cheekbones, plump lips and her blonde hair. Her height was a cherry on top of the cake. Aiden and her looked great together. The thing I liked about her was that she neither had attitude nor did she brag about how pretty she was. Blake's words got me out of my la la land, "Catherine, can you stop that?" That's when I noticed that she was literally clinging onto him and he was completely irritated. I really don't understand what she's trying to achieve.

Blake's POV

I picked black jeans, a grey hoodie and a black jacket on top. I paired it along with black shoes and headed towards Max's house.

Lizzy (Elizabeth) Max's mom opened the door greeting with a warm hug. "Where is that lazy ass?" I asked her as he was nowhere to be seen or usually he would lazily be sitting on the couch. "He just woke up, must be showering. Why don't you go and tell him to hurry up?" She replied.

"But what do I get?" I asked teasing her as she knew what exactly I wanted. "Youuuu are not going to get any sponge cake. You eat my share too." William, Max's dad said "Not only yours, he eats mine too." Max added to his dad's statement which made Lizzy and I laugh a little hard.
"Well don't blame me, her cake is to die for!!!"
"Oh come on you guys." Lizzy snorted.

"You ready to go?" I asked Max once the sponge cake issue was sorted. "Yup" He said as he gave Lizzy a kiss on the cheek followed by me. She's always been another mom for me. I mean Max and I were diaper buddies. Max wore a baggy maroon hoodie along with black jeans to complete his look.

I was known as the bad boy whilst he was known as the golden boy. Our differences was what made us closer. Weird I know...
