(13) Not much drama

Karoline's POV

The day went by really fast, faster and better than expected. Except the lunch period where Catherine tried to pull out stunts on me. she tried thrice, failed twice but succeed once.

At lunch period

I was waiting for Tyler to come as told me that we'll go together. Then finally after what seemed like a lifetime she came. she looked around may be to find me, I waved my hand so she could see me. There she comes all happy.

"Where the fuck have you been?" I half-yelled at her. "Sorryy, this Franco (FRANCIS, English teacher) didn't let us go. He's so unpredictable like one time he's so good, all fun and all but the next second he turns all cold. Ahh "She complained as we head to the cafeteria. We took our dishes and went to the last table where we wouldn't be noticed much but seems like GOD had other plans because just after a while the' hot' guys (that's what Tyler likes to call them) came. That made the whole cafeteria go silent that was once all so lively and noisy.

The blue-eyed guy whose name is Blake, usually had deadly aura around him, came first with Catherine trying to get this attention and failing miserably. It was actually so funny that I couldn't help but chuckle. Opps, too bad because that caught like everyone's attention and by everyone i mean including Blake and Catherine. Catherine shot me a glare while Blake looked at me with confused eyes. I felt a hit on my leg and it was obliviously Tyler. I started digging in my food again.

After a while, it went back to normal. Tyler started talking about random things again. Damnn! this chick is talkativee! I even told her and she just laughed it off saying that's how she is normal. Suddenly, she stopped and i looked toward her but she was looking beside me with a shocked expression. then I heard a chair screech and guess who it was. JAYDEN!

"What do you want?" I asked him. "For once, do you mind being polite and i came here to get your number and address, for the EXPERIMENT."

I gave my number and address since he had to come over for the assignment. Just when i was done Catherine came "What are you doing here with this whore jay?" a whore like really, that suits more on her than me."That's none of your concern" Jay shot back. Wait what! when did I start calling him Jay? Anyways that's not important. She came near me and tried to push my dish so that it would land right on my lap but i held it tight attached to the table.

"Can't move it, huh?" I asked her with a smirk plastered on my face.

Jay cut her off by saying "Alright then, I will see you later?" I nodded and he stood up to leave with Catherine. "What was that?" Finally Ty got her tongue back. I told her about the chem assignment as to why i exchanged my number with Jay. We went to keep our plates in the bin and just when i was returning one of Catherine's minion pulled her leg out for me to trip but I noticed it and avoided. I looked back at her with a victorious smile but it got vanished when I landed right on my face.

"What the fuck is your problem?" I heard Ty's voice directed towards Catherine as she helped me get up. "huh?" that was Catherine's reply. "For once in your life, don't act dumb." "just let her be, Catherine." Jay said. I pulled Ty as I noticed people gathering around us. I didn't want to create a scene. i pulled her out of the cafeteria as she kept on cursing Catherine. "what the fuck?" I was so happy that she stood up for me. It reminded me of Nate.

"Cool down womannn!"i said "like really?"

And that's how the lunch went. It took hell a lot of persuading and promising to calm her down. Luckily, we had art together but it wasn't that good. I mean we were grouped with Blake, Mason, Maxwell and John. john was another nerd type. he's alright, only talks when someone asks him a question. It was so awkward. Why? First - no one talked much and surprisingly not even Ty. Second - I felt like I was being watched and when I look up I usually see either Blake or Maxwell looking and within seconds they both look away.

Present

I was flipping through the channels as I heard the door bell ring. Wondering it must be Ty I opened the door and guess who stood right in front me. Don't get your hope high it's just Jayden. He wore a black t-shirt, black jeans type, leather jacket and headphones.

His outfit

"Are you just gonna stand there or lemme in?" He asked and I pushed the door open for him to enter. His eyes were checking me out from head to toe and finally settled on my very exposed long legs. I had worn a grey one shoulder off t-shirt and black shorts.

Her outfit

"take a picture, it will last longer." I said with a smirk and turned on my heels to the kitchen to get something to eat. When I came back I found him already making himself comfortable.

"Shall we get started?" he asked as he heard my footsteps.

After 2 hours

He wasn't as bad as I thought. Sorry, he was actually really good at it. I mean he even helped me a lot to understand. Looks like we can make a good pair. Nop I don't mean it in couple way. He stood up to leave. As I was gonna shut the door I said, "goodbye Jay."

He looked at me with a smirk and said "So you finally took the offer and call me Jay, huh? Your quite unpredictable, I mean I thought it would take you a while to get used to me."

"well am only calling you that because you insisted. Don't fly so much." I said at last as I shut the door and went to prepare dinner with a small smile playing on my lips and I don't even know the reason.
