(9) The explanation

Karoline POV

As soon as I reached home I directly went to my bed and changed into something comfortable. I wanted to sleep so badly but the blue eyes didn't let me. Whenever I closed my eyes I could see them. They were so mesmerizing. Even he was good looking but I didn't want any relationships with anyone. After sometime I eventually fell asleep and all I could see was darkness....

When I woke up it was already 4 o'clock. Wow I didn't realize I slept all that. I checked my phone to see 5missed calls from Taylor, 2 missed calls from Noah and 19 missed calls from Harry and 47 missed calls from Nate. I first called Taylor and after few rings she picked up and said

"What the fuck were you doing? Do you have any idea how many times I called you? Why the fuck were you not answering my calls and why were you n-" I cut her off by shouting " I was sleeping "

"Damn girl you talk so much. My ears drums would have bursted anytime"

"Shut up. Do you have any idea how worried I was and on top I was knocking on your door and you were just not answering it."she complained

"Jeez woman I was sleeping and if am in a peaceful sleep I can't hear anything else."

"Ok I called to ask you if you wanna hang out." "Sure" I quickly replied. The second I said that I heard a knock and she said

"open the damn door kare!"

"Woah your really fast." I said as I opened the door and her reply was
"I was just outside your house"

"Why"
"Because obviously who doesn't want me" she said in a duh tone.

She went to the fridge to get juice and some snacks and I asked what her plan was.

She replied "the plan is that you are going to tell me everything that happened in school and the reason why you left" she said as she brought the snacks and juice and kept it on the table while sitting on the sofa to make herself comfortable.

"Nothing I just left like that" I said since I don't want her to know about the scene that happened in school and if you didn't know she's a feisty one. She doesn't know that I am in a gang and all that because I don't want her to be involved in any of shits that might happen in the near future.

She looked at me for a good minute like she is studying me and then stood up and dragged me to sit and then she sat and faced me giving all her attention to me and said "now listen up. I wasn't asking you I am telling you so be a good girl and temme everything that happened back in school and if you don't I will fucking do something that you will regret for not listening to me." She said with a serious tone. But it didn't really affect me but still I just nodded and she smiled in victory.

After 2 hours

I had told her the whole story about what happened and all that. To say she was pissed would be an understatement. She was so mad at me for not standing up for myself. I wanted to tell her that my punch would land that redhead in coma but I just kept my mouth shut. Its just been 2 days and we have become this close. I really liked the way she is like she is straight forward, if something is bad, she will say it on your face without really caring.

She told me that the redhead's name is Catherine and the blue eye guy whose name is Blake and also told me the name of people in the whole group and also describing each one of them. Wahhh this chick can talk without getting tired. She left when it was somewhere near 8:00. I thought of making something as my stomach growled loudly. So I just made pasta. Once I was done eating I remembered that I had to call Noah since he had called me before but it just came out of head.
Me: hey

Noah: what were you doing all this time? I called you and you didn't even pick up. Is everything OK?

Me: yea I was just sleeping so I didn't hear my phone ringing. I am sorry about that. Why did you call anyways?

Noah: ohh. We all were together so harry really wanted to talk to you and also Nathan. He hasn't been himself lately. You know how he is.

Me: oww I will call him before I go to sleep.

Noah: when is your fight by the way?

Me: its at 10:30 so I will go there at 10:15.

Noah: owk bye take care.

Me: bye u too.

I called Nate and since him and harry were together, he video called.

During the call...

Nate: where the fuck were you all this time. Do u have any fucking idea how worried I was. U little bitch, u got us all so scared. Thank God that Ur OK. He said as I saw him wipe the tear that rolled down his cheek. He wasn't a person to curse all that but when he did just know that he is damn angry.

Me: I am so sorry Nate I was sleeping and didn't realize that my phone was ringing. You know that I would never do anything to hurt you. I am soooo sorry. Plz forgive me Nattyyy. I said as I hated fighting with him. I just loved him a lot.

Harry: hey you know you owe me an apology too.

Me: shut up harry.

Harry: that's so mean of you. You can say sorry to him but not me. That's just so harsh. I am hurt kare. M really hurt. He said faking a hurt look and putting his hands on his heart. Yes I was never a person to say sorry but for him I could.....

I understand Nathan's concern because a lot of things happened in the past and the results were not good. I mean I lost someone I dearly loved.
