Chapter 8

Miley pov.

The moment I landed down, I hid behind the tree which was right ahead of the pipe. The tree was thick, so thick that if anybody looked from outside they wouldn't have even seen me. I looked around to see if there were anyone behind me, to be in the safer side. Once the area was clear, I gripped the tree and peeped out of it slowly.

The first thing I saw was a bunch of teenagers standing on one side and there was a man, probably in his mid fifties kneeling down with his hands tied on the other.

I looked closely at the bunch of teenagers, every single student that I had seen in the corner cafeteria table that Stefan had told me about stood on one side which wasn't much of a surprise, the part that was a surprise for me was that, Caden was part of this gang and the guy who called me princess in the cemetery was also a part of it. I never forgot about him, he kept flashing in my mind at odd moment, which happened more often making it hard to forget him.

He looked just like he had been a month and a half ago, his blond hair was dishveled, his deep blue ocean eyes which could make anyone drown was so clear from where I stood. He hadn't changed at all.

My gaze drifted from the blond beauty and eyed the rest of the members, they all had a blank face, completely hidden with not a hint of any emotion. Only the blond beauty had a bored look on his face and Caden had an annoyed look.

"You will never find it" the man on the other end spat

Caden sighed and said "if you don't want us to hurt your daughter, you are gonna tell us where it is"

"you think, after all I have been through I would give a shit about my daughter " he scoffed.

The blond beauty looked amused at his remark and walked towards him with a smirk. He crouched down in front of him and asked "so you don't give a shit about your daughter?"

"I d-dont" the man stuttered.

Idiot.

Blond beauty chuckled and said "well, good because I was wondering different ways to tell you that I killed your five year old daughter before coming here"

The old man tried keeping his emotions under control, but he couldn't control his tears.

Blond beauty chuckled and patted his back. "Now, where is the device?" He asked.

"I have nothing to loose now, even if I die I won't tell you where it is" the old man said with a fierce look.

The blond beauty chuckled and glanced behind to see his friends. The blond beauty gripped the old man's hair and yanked it back. "if you want your secret family to stay alive, you will fucking tell me the truth" the blond beauty snarled.

" How the hell did you know about them?" The old man asked as a single tear drop rolled down his eye.

"that's not particularly an answer" he said sighing.

"It is hidden in the dock, Victor told me to hide it in the dock" the old man said his head hung low.

"well, where in the dock" Nicole asked.

Before he could answer a bullet pierced through the center of his head making me gasp, he started leaning backwards and fell on the ground with a thud, his eyes wide open.

The blond beauty stood up with an annoyed look. Everyone looked around the place to see who had killed the old man, including me.

"Let's get out of the area immediately, Caleb and Vincent check the place out the moment we leave" the blond beauty said as they started walking towards the gate of the cafeteria.
