Chapter 26

Miley Pov.

I parked my bicycle near the gate of the gang house after I reached. It was around eleven in the morning when I could finally make it to the gang house. Jenna was in a killer mood when she woke up, demanded what had happened. I managed to tell her a lie without giving much away, but what do you say to the question of why she couldn't remember drinking.

Oh it's nothing Jenna someone just gave you drugs in a dose that could have killed you, it's nothing big.

I sighed, I walked inside the house only to come face to face with an asian girl.

"who are you? "she demanded.

"I am Miley, I am-" I started.

"Caleb's girlfriend " a voice said behind me.

I whipped my head around to the source and it was none other than Haze. He adjusted his dark blue shirt over his grey track pants and looked at me, I closed my mouth and turned to the asian girl.

"Oh, my apologies. Caleb usually doesn't bring his girlfriends here" she mumbled, glancing between Haze and me.

I shrugged and looked at Haze.

"Come on, let's go up " Haze said, pulling me by my arm.

The moment we entered Haze's study room everyone looked up at both of us. I gave them an acknowledging nod and stood next to Caleb, "you are my boyfriend, in front of the asian girl" I said leaning back on the wall.

"Asian? "

"The girl in the living room, she looked like one" I muttered.

"Lucy?"

" I don't know. Who ever, you are my boyfriend in front of her. Boss's rules" I said pointing to Haze.

Caleb rolled his eyes and crossed his arms across his chest, closing his eyes.

Haze clapped his hands grabbing our attention. Caleb stood straight and so did I, as everyone focused on Haze.

"Okay, listen up. We are getting to no end. We have to find out who is trying to put us down. But we already know who it is. It is Tyler 's gang. But we cannot just wage a war at them because they are trying to tip us off. We need evidence-"

"Why can't we? You know just wage war. We know it's them. Everyone believes that it's them" I said.

"because Tyler's gang is in close association with my dad's gang. One wrong move, he will be alerted and my gang has to go through shit because of his wrath "

"Daddy's boy" I muttered under my breath, Caleb gave me a pointed look but smiled nevertheless.

"Like I said we need some sort of advantage on them, So I am making a decision of letting Caden go"

"What? Letting Caden go? What does that mean? Are you going to kill him? Are you going to kill his brother?" Nicole asked, panicking.

Haze shook his head and said "No, I am not killing Caden nor his brother.
Caden wants his brother back. That's why he came to us. So now I am letting him go so he could play double agent for us. He will connect with his brother and be an insider in B&D"

"How sure are you that he won't turn his back on us? " I asked.

"I am always sure " Haze said.

"Then what? " Axel asked.

"We wait till he gives information. Then we strike" Haze said.

"I don't think the plan is useful" I said shaking my head.
