Finding Maze

Chapter 13

Miley pov.

"Let's go in" She said as she got out of the jeep, Caleb and Vincent were already walking ahead of us. Nicole gave her keys to the guard who stood near the gate.

We all entered the house and climbed upstairs and directly went to the study room. Alex was on his computer typing something, Axel was sitting on the couch reading something. Caleb and Vincent removed their guns whereas Nicole went to her room leaving me alone.

Having nothing to do I sat next to Axel and peeped to see which book he was reading.

"it's jump cut" he said, not looking away from his book.

" Oh my god, I have read all of seven series" I exclamied as I leaned to see which page he was actually in.

"And show?" Axel asked looking at me with an amused look.

"I am watching it now, but I still don't know which is better. The book or show. Both are kind of amazing" I said sighing.

"You recommend it?" He asked, raising one of his eyebrow.

"With my heart " I said nodding my head repeatedly.

"I'll think about it" he said in a clipped tone and resumed reading. I rolled my eyes at his actions and looked at everyone else.

Caleb and Vincent were talking in hushed whispers, Alex was still on his computer, Nicole still didn't make an appearance and coming to think of it Haze was no where to be seen too. I stood up and got out of the room, and looked at the flight of stairs.

I still had no idea how the rest of the house looked like and I didn't want a tourist to give me one. Taking the mission into my own hands I climbed to the top most floor, which had me gasping for air when I reached, there were only three doors in the last floor. One was the theatre room, and the room adjacent to it was a guest room, The door next to the guest room, was locked and did not open even with a hairpin. I sighed when my hairpin broke in the attempt to open the door, I shook my head and headed down to the fourth floor.

The fourth floor had another set of three doors, but then it had a sixty inch TV and a semi circle leather couch. Looking at the doors from outside, I figured two among the three doors belonged to two of the gang members and third door was the game room.

"Hey, are you searching for your room?" Nicole asked closing the second door behind her as she got out.

"My room? I have a room?" I asked.

"Well, you are working for us and are a part of our gang. So duh you have a room " Nicole said shrugging her shoulders.

"Show me my room" I said, grinning.

She nodded her head with a chuckle and went downstairs. Nicole headed to the door which was near the staircase and opened it. The first thing that I saw when I entered the room was a King size bed, a massive king size bed. The floor was carpeted with some fluffy white carpet, the walls were white, the dresser adjacent to the bed was white and the closet opposite was white with black butterflies as designs.

"Woah, I didn't expect this" I mumbled as I walked towards the closet.

"Yeah, the closet already has some clothes. Haze ordered it, apparently he knows your size" Nicole said crossing her arms across her chest.

"This is an hourglass body, honey" I said placing my hand on my hips and twirled. "Anybody can see that"

Nicole laughed and shook her head. "Well, alright, we need to go down. Haze is waiting. I came out of my room to fetch you, but well ...." She trailed off.
