Miley Pov.

I stared at the ceiling as I laid on the couch in the gang house. It's been around a week since Stefan's funeral and I have been staying here, in this couch for the one whole week. The gang members didn't seem to mind, I mean they have their own share of dealing with people.

Nicole is having trouble to walk, as every time she did a pain shoots up through her leg and makes her fall flat on the floor. I knew of this because she falls right in front of the door which is opposite to the couch.

Vincent seems to stay in the gym all day and night, Caleb never comes to the gang house and Alex is basically staying in the security room as it was the last time I saw him before I started staying on the couch.

The only two people living their life is Haze and Axel, Haze is at cloud 9 for whatever reason and Axel is happy that he has a girlfriend after a very long time.

I sighed and turned to face Nicole's door, it was about time she came. Right then the door opened and Nicole was walking slow steps with the help of Haze and door. But today was different, she took a step out of her room. Not one but two. Nicole looked at me with bright smile and I started giggling. I clapped and laughed. Nicole giggled and Haze carried her in bridal style and placed her next to me. I kept my head on her lap and looked at her face.

" Caden wants to talk to you. You should listen to him, to the truth " Nicole said, as she stroked my bangs.

" well, I already know the truth. And I am taking a break, is it to much to ask? " I snapped.

" have you cried yet? " she asked.

I gave her a 'are you dumb look' and said" I don't cry over dead people. I mean these things happen, do you cry for all the people who lose their life? No, you don't. And besides I am feeling sorry and I feel that's enough "

" I mean he was your good friend " she said.

" look, Nicole he was my good friend yes. But even if I cry he is not going to come back and he really is nothing but a friend I have other friends in the world, he is replaceable, and I don't care "

Nicole looked at me with a disbelief look and said" you are a monster "

I laughed and looked in the front to find Haze staring at me" what? " I asked.

" do you guys want something to eat? " he asked.

Okay, weird

" I am craving a vegan spicy pasta, can we order it? " I asked

" yeah, and you Nicole? "

" I want a taco " she said.

" Okay, I will order it and you guys can have it in the.. "

" couch" we both said at the same time.

"okay, couch it is. Oh and Miley you should bathe, the living room is starting to smell " Haze said, with a smirk. I glared at him while Nicole laughed. I threw a pillow which he caught it with ease whilst laughing. I rolled my eyes and hit Nicole's hand for laughing.

"I have called everyone for a meeting in the work out room at seven. So all of you be assembled there" Haze said.

Nicole and I glanced at Haze and continued playing Fortnite on Xbox one.

" guys did you hear me I have arranged a meeting and you have to be there " he said again.

Nicole and I again glanced at Haze and continued playing. Suddenly the screen went black, we looked at Haze to find him holding the TV wires.

"what the fuck?" I gritted.
