Chapter 15

Miley pov.

"Don't switch on the lights, the cameras can see us" Haze said behind me making me jump.

"I can't, even if I wanted to" I mumbled in the dark.

I stretched my arms wide so that I don't hit my face on a piller or anything of sorts. It was nerve wrecking thing to walk without seeing even if your eyes were wide open. My steps were hesitant and I freaked out when I felt a hand over my arm. I was about to give that person a jab, but stopped when I felt it was Vincent.

"Come on" he said and pulled me with him.

"What are we doing here?" I asked.

"Inspecting" Vincent said.

"Inspecting what?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"the place" he said.

Even in the dark I could imagine his face with a smirk. I glared at where I think his head was and said "you know I thought we were gonna inspect the lawn outside"

"which is exactly why I made it clear that we are inspecting this place" he said.

On the second thought I should have given him that jab.

"I don't think, he knows anything" Haze said, somewhere way ahead of us.

"Anything about what?" I asked.

"Anything about Tyler, Herrin was in alliance with B&D once. So I thought maybe this gang was helping Tyler. But I don't think he does" Haze said.

"And how would you know?" Vincent asked, I turned to the direction from where I heard Haze's voice.

"The files, says that Herrin gang is in alliance with my Dad's gang" Haze said.

"He could go against you for all you know" I pointed out.

"This gang should know better than to mess up with my dad's family members" Haze said.

"Wait, how are you able to see, let alone read?" I asked trying to see any figure in the darkness.

"Night vision glasses" Vincent said.

I glared at no one in particular, but when I felt a person stand in front of me I lifted my hand to touch the figure but there was no one. I let out a frustrated sigh. "And you guys never thought to get me one?" I asked.

"Nope" Vincent said.

"let's head to the next gang, Princess" Haze said and holding my arm and pulled me along with him.

"Woah, which gang is this? "I asked, looking at the pink villa. There were literally confetti stuck on the walls of the villa. It looked like the dollhouse kids used to play with, I am pretty sure I will find a tea party going inside. I wonder if there are going to be barbies inside this house too.

"It's called Ladies" Vincent said, making me laugh. I stopped when Haze glared at me.

"How are we going to go in?" Vincent asked.

"well, let's hope that our bodies does the talking" Haze said and climbed the porch with Vincent and I following behind him. Haze stood in front of the door and lifted his hand to knock but stopped and turned to me.

" I need you to go to the third floor there will be a white colour door with  'store room' written on it, go inside and check if there is anything against or related to our gang or that of B&D" He said.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"Vince and I will distract, you have fifteen minutes. Don't fuck it up" Haze said.
