Kid Danger and Rose (A Henry Danger fan-fiction) [COMPLETED]

Chapter 24

Rose's POV.

Henry just got out of the hospital. He broke his arm pretty badly, but handled it pretty well. Henry and I were home alone because Piper went to a birthday party.

"Do you need me to do anything for you?", I ask as he just sits on the couch.

"Yes. actually there is something you can do for me.", he says with a smirk.

"Henry if you're thinking of that the answer is no.", I say.

"Fine, fine, but can you come sit with me because I'm cold?", he asks.

"Sure.", I say.

"Wait a second. How are you going to be Kid Danger if you have a broken arm?", I ask.

"I don't know.", he says and starts tearing up.

"How about we just call today a relaxation day. Okay, so don't stress.", I say in a soft tone.

"Okay.", he says and I kiss his cheek.

We start watching iCarly and Victorious for awhile. Finally we decide were going to play a board game. We play Monopoly Empire for an hour and get hungry. Since Henry broke his arm I tell him I'll make him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and got him a can of soda.

"Here you go Hen.", I say.

"Thanks.", he says.

When we have just a couple of bites left of our sandwiches we here glass breaking and things being thrown around downstairs.

"Henry you just wait here.", I say,
"And hide under the bed."

I heard him say Rose wait, but I left his room anyway. As I walked down the stairs I saw a dark figure wandering around the living room.

The person was searching under the couch cushions for something. I took one more step and the staircase made a creaking sound. The person -a guy-turned around looking for someone expecting to see them there. I held on to the railing very tightly and made a fist with the other hand while the guy just stares at my face. Another guy walks in and asks, "did you find anything?". The other guy that I saw before says, "no, but I heard a noise by the stairwell and nothing is there.".

What the hell. I ask myself, Is that guy blind because I have been sitting on the stairwell for awhile now? I try to get a closer look at the guys, but end up knocking over a vase of flowers. They start looking around, when they see the vase broken by the stairwell they walk toward it.

"Did you throw that?", guy number 1 asks.

"No. I'm gonna go check upstairs.", says guy number 2.

He starts walking up the steps slowly. My heart is racing because he now has a clear view of me. He looks around and starts walking up more steps. When he gets near me I push him really hard causing him to stumble backward down the stairs. He gets up and screams, then runs out the door with the other guy.

I go back upstairs to check on Henry. I walk towards his room and open the door carefully.

"Henry you still in here?", I ask.

"I'm over here.", he says waving his hand.

"I have to talk to you.", I say.

"Is it about our relationship?", he asks then sighs.

"No. when we heard noises I hid on the stairwell and this guy was looking for something.", I say.

"Okay.", Henry says.

"I startled him by making a stair creak. He turned around and looked right at my face, but then this other guy came into the house and asked him if he found anything. He said he didn't but he saw me. I made a vase break and one guy came to the steps he started to walk up them but I pushed him and he fell. They both ran out of the house.", I say.

"That's great, but why did he say he didn't see you?", he asks.

"That's what I can't put my finger around.", I say.

"Just come downstairs with me and show me where you were hiding.", he says.

We both walk down the steps and I tell him where to stand. I then goto where I was trying to hide. He said he could see me clearly, but then I made a fist.

Henry's POV.

"Can you still me?", she asks.

"No I can't. Where are you?", I ask.

"I'm still on the stairwell.", she says.

Then I can see her again in the exact same spot.

"How did you do that?", I ask.

"I don't know I just made a fist with my hand then you didn't see me.", she says.

"We're gonna solve this mystery later. Right after we clean up this mess.", I say.
