Chapter 44

Rose's POV.

Of all people it had to be Lily. I swear she likes Henry because the last time I saw her she was all up on him hugging him and crap, but I mean if you're scared I couldn't blame you.

She immediately hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

"I'm just gonna leave you two be.", I say while walking away.

I grab my phone and have a group chat with Charlotte, Chloe, and Sari.

R- Hey guys. 😞

S- What's wrong??

Char- What did Henry do now? 😒

R- Well Lily came back and I think she likes him and I left them alone.

C- Why would you do that?? Go back to them now.

R- Okay. Um ttyl love y'all.

***End of convo***

I walk back over to them to see Lily holding Henry's hand.

"Lily. I have a girlfriend.", he says and removes his hand from hers.

"But I thought this is what you wanted.", She said.

"No what I want I already have which is my amazing girlfriend.", He says.

I walk away and go home. When I walk up to my room I get a text from Henry.

H- Hey where r u??

R- At your place.

H- I'm coming home. I have to tell you something.

R- Okay. Cya soon.

He comes home covered in sand and his hair is wet.

"Um what happened to you?", I ask.

"Well Lily likes me, but I don't like her and I told her that I have a girlfriend. She got really mad at me and pushed me into the ocean.", He says.

I burst out into laughter.

"I can't believe she would do tha-", I say, but I'm interrupted by Henry.

"Owww.", He screams.

I see a crab crawl out of his shirt and it starts crawling all over him.

"Maybe you should take a shower.", I suggest.

"Yeah and watch me find more crabs all over me.", He says and walks out of my room.

I grab a book from off of my bookshelf and start reading it. It's
"The Fault in Our Stars" I've read it over 50 times, it's that amazing. Just when I'm about to turn my lamp off Henry comes running into my room with no shirt on- as usual- and crawls onto my bed to give me a Goodnight kiss and hug.

"I love you.", he whispers.

"I love you too.", I whisper back.

When he's about to leave I pull him back to me for another kiss. I can't help but smile he's just so freakin cute.

"Goodnight.", he says as he shuts my door.

"Goodnight.", I whisper and fall asleep.
