The Party Scene (A Jalex Fanfiction)

Chapter Seven: The Party Scene part 1

"Thanks Jacky, I'll see you at the party later alright?" I smiled at him as I reached for the handel of the door and open the door before getting out. I looked back at him and he just gave me a soft smile that was enough to make your heart melt. Fuck what is this man doing to me?! 

"Alright, I'll see you around seven Lex." He said with a smile and I closed the door before walking up to my house. I put my key in the lock before walking in to find a note on the back of the door when I closed it. the note read,

        "Alex, I'm not going to be home tonight or tomorrow so I left you fifty dollars. Your aunt got sick and I have to go baby sit your cousins for the weekend. Make sure you stay safe and have a good night honey, love you ~Mum."  I take the fifty out of the paper clip attached to the note and put in my wallet before heading up stairs to take a shower. 

        

I walked into my bed room and glance around taking in the smell of freshly done paint and my Axe colone. I can say this is a lot diffrent from back home, the people are way nicer. I never thought I would get pass not being called the "emo kid"  or "faggot" every time I'd turn a corner. America is diffrent, a good diffrent may I add.  I actually had friends here which was a shock because I was normally the loner not even the outcasts wanted to be seen with. I like actually being noticed and being seen as an equal.

I walked in to the sea foam green painted bathroom with black and white checkered tiles on the floor and let a soft chuckle escape my lips at how much this looks like an old 70's dinner.  I looked into the mirror and smiled softly before turing on the water and getting into the shower.

Time Laps to Kellins Party________________________________

        I walked my way to Kellins party dressed down in a pair of plain skinnys and an faded Greenday t-shirt with a black jacket to pull it together. By time I got close enough I could hear the music booming from inside the house. I took in the scene before me and was slightly shocked that someone as quiet as Kellin would have a party like this. I walked up to the door and was met by a slightly tipsy Kellin.  I can say this is a Kellin I could get used to. He was dressed in a white low cut tank that reveled the tattoos on his arm and chest and skinny jean that hung perfectly on his waist. I had to keep telling myself he was off limits though because Vic could no doubt lay me out on my ass and hurt me pretty bad if he found out about my petty crush on Kells. 

"Alex, Lex, Lexie my man its great to see you could come, I was getting worried you'd bale on me." Kellin spoke in an half drunk manner and giggled before throwing an arm around my shoulder and leading me into the party, "Well Lexie, the drinks are in the kitchen and the pools out back but I want you to meet a couple of people." We made our way through the living room to an beat up leather couch. Kellin left me and sat in Vics lap before placing a kiss on his lips. "Well Lexie, this is my wonderful boyfriend Vic, Beside him is his best friend Beau, and beside him is Ben." I nodded at the guys and Kellin got of Vics lap before leading me around the house meeting people before he lead me upstairs where it was quiet. "Hey Kells what are we doing up here?" I looked at him and he sat down on his bed, "I think the person I love the most is going to leave me for someone better. I mean Vic doesn't even look at me the same way he used to. Besides I caught him and Beau kissing in the locker room and he said he never ment for it to happen. I just feel like I'm going to lose him..." He spoke in a tone just above a whisper and I sat down beside him before pulling him into a side hug and he whispered a soft thank you. 

I pulled away and looked down at him and gave him a soft smile to try and make it better and he gave a forced one back. I brushed a piece of dark black hair behind his ear and he looked up at me. "Thank lex, but I should get back down stairs to greet my guests but before we go." He leaned in and pressed his rather soft lips to mine in a slow kiss before he pulled back blushing, "I needed that." Was all he said before heading down stairs leaving me lost for words. One thing I know now is. I'm so not straight.

I head down stairs and am greeted by people I know and new faces but as soon as I seen jack he put down his cup and practically tackled me. I was kinda shocked by what just happened but other people looked at us like this was totally normal of him to do. We were joined by the guy I've come to know as Ben and he grabbed my hand, "Aw finally Quinn gets some cute guy friends." Ben winked at be and Jack kinda chuckled awkwardly, "What about me Benny, I thought what we had was real?" Jack gave the best puppy dog face he had and smirked, "You know I'll always Love you Jacky." Be leaned up and kissed Jack on the cheek before going and grabbing another drink, "Well Lex, you have met my best and extremely gay friend. He's a good guy but if you don't watch you ass he might just take that as a sign." Jack let a chuckle escape those beautiful lips of his, "Don't worry he's with Danny so you should be good this week."

I raised my eyebrow at Jack, "This week?" He nodded and drank from his cup I just noticed was in his hand, "Yeah him and  Danny are and on again off again thing." He glanced around the room and spotted Ben kissing a ginger male in the corner, "Seems like there on again this week." He smiled at me before glancing over my shoulder. His smile grew wider and I noticed a fairly short blonde haired girl with green tips. She walked over to jack and hugged him, "Its been forever since I seen you Jacky boy, oh whose this handsome bloke mate, he your new boyfriend?" He elbowed her in the side, "enough Jenna." was all he said before she put her hands up in surrender and walked away. "Why am I friends with all the crazies?" He smiled at me and thats a smile I cant forget. A smile that held something more. That was the smile of someone who was truly happy.
