Ally's pov

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Ugh! I growled silently and looked behind the seat I was currently sitting in, facing the little girl.

The pale, blonde haired toddler had been kicking my seat for the last thirty minutes nonstop. How can such a innocent little girl be so devilish?

The answer is, I have no idea.

She had boarded the place right after me, her tiny hand in her mothers, while waddling towards the seat her mom was looking for. Dressed in dark blue jean overalls, a hot pink undershirt, and those twinkle toe shoes from sketchers. Plus, just to finish the look; her bright, almost white, blonde hair was in pigtails.

Her light green eyes stared into mine, almost as if willing to challenge me.

The mom seemed to notice mine and her daughters staring contest and quickly apologized for her child's behavior while mumbling about why you shouldn't bring a child on a airplane.

I turned back around and faced the seat in front of me. I've only been on this plane for about two hours and I'm already bored.

I brought only my phone and a few books, thinking that I would sleep most of the time. Truth to be told, even if I wanted to sleep, to much was going on in my mind.

In between leaving my family and friends and meeting people from a totally different pack. I was actually kind of excited going to California. There where many places and things in California that I had yet to see or do. Like going to a beach.

There was also a rush of excitement that something good was going to happen while I was there. I didn't know what, but normally, these emotions also lead to something extraordinary.

-----

"Mrs?" There was a light tap on my shoulder.

I groaned and pulled my jacket closer to me.

"Mrs the plane has landed, I'm afraid you have to get up now."

The words plane and landed repeated in my head. I quickly stood up, realization dawning on me, only to be met with a hard thump.

"Shit!" I mumbled. The flight attendant cleared her throat. It probably wasn't the first time someone had bumped their head while on her watch.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! Please forgive me. Actually-" I looked around the plane; empty "I'm just going to leave now. Thanks for waking me up."

I quickly grabbed my carry on and hurried towards the exit of the plane. Talk about awkward and weird.

As I was passing the security checkpoint I couldn't help but smile at the tiny children pulling on there mothers sleeves, excitement and curiosity written on there facial features. The other older men and women looked like they wanted to get through the damn security and rest or eat a snack before it was time to board their plane or leave to go to wherever there destination was.

I re-adjusted my duffle bag on my shoulder and looked at my phone.
