when i got home, my parents looked at me as if they were mad at me.

alessia: "why are you guys looking at me like that?"

mom: "where have u been all this time?"

alessia: "i was at shawn's house."

dad: "since the past months and days?"

alessia: "what's wrong with that?"

mom: "you've never called or even sent a text while u were gone!"

alessia: "i'm sorry..i just forgot.."

dad: "how did u forget?"

alessia: "i was spending too much time with him."

mom: "since when did u two start hanging out so much?"

alessia: "mom...shawn is my boyfriend."

mom: "what?"

dad: "when did it all happen?"

mom: "during tour."

dad: "what's that scar on u?"

alessia: "oh i got hit by a car...you guys know this."

dad: "oh yea we know that, we're disappointed because u got us worried and never told us when u left house. you've been gone for such a long time. we thought something happened to u."

alessia: "i'm sorry for disappearing like that.."

mom: "make sure u tell us when ur going out."

alessia: "but i'm about to be 24 in a week now, i don't need to tell people when i'm going out."

dad: "yea but u still live with us and we need to know where u are, just because u spend time with shawn doesn't mean u have to abandon us like that, we're still your parents even though if you're like 60 years old."

alessia: *thinks* "that's if you're still alive when i'm 60." 

mom: "i'm happy for u and shawn even though if u never told us."

she smiled.

dad: "is he a good guy?"

alessia: "of course he's a good guy, he's been a good guy even right before we dated."

mom: "if he hurts u, tell us."

alessia: "oh he'll never do that, i trust shawn."

mom: "my dear girl, don't trust anyone."

alessia: "so i can't trust shawn?"

mom: "you can, i'm just saying cause i know u trust almost everyone."

alessia: "i trust u guys, shawn and my fans."

dad: "as long as he's making u happy, then that's good...you should invite him over for dinner or for u two to talk sometime."

alessia: "i'll invite him on my birthday since we're having a family dinner during that time."

mom: "i can't wait to be a grandparent."

i laughed.

alessia: "Mom! children already?! whoa..slow down there."

mom: "i'm sorry, i got carried away."

dad: "would u want to have a family with him?"

alessia: "yes i would want to, when we're ready."

we both laughed. after all that talk, i went to my room and talked with shawn and my friend liv on the phone. thank god my parents didn't get too mad at me for not being home for a while. i ended the day with eating dinner and then i went to bed.
